The Green Mile (1999)
Harrowing, funny, fantastic and thoughtful
What can I say, if I could vote 12/10 I would have. It makes you consider the consequences of capital punishment - even though there is a spiritual and magical aspect to the plot. Men & women weep at the electric chair scene when it goes wrong. No one can come away unaffected by this film. Well done.
Titanic (1997)
If it does not make you cry, then you are not human.
Perhaps not a fully correct historically, bit what a tear jerker, at least for the first half dozen times you watch it. I remember when I went to the cinema for the first time to watch this film at the close, no one, not anyone said a word; all we could hear was sobbing. The film certainly made its impact.
Legend of the Lost Tomb (1997)
What fun, and if you have visited Egypt, it is especially a good yarn.
If not a fan of Egypt then just enjoy this yarn. If you are a visitor, or like me a very frequent visitor, enjoy the story and especially the locations. You can smell and taste the captivating this most beautiful of countries.
