Special OPS (2020)
One of the best Indian web-series ever!!
Gripping, riveting and intriguing.. This is Neeraj Pandey's 2nd-best work till date after "A Wednesday"!! A spy-thriller which keeps you on the edge throughout, with power-packed performances by Kay Kay Menon (leading the cast), Vinay Pathak, Karan Tacker and Gautami Kapoor among others... Masterpiece, not to be missed!!
Blank (2019)
Gritty, swift, edge-of-the-seat thriller!!
Sunny Deol is back to what he does best - eliminating enemies of the country!
This film went completely unnoticed at the time of release and I set upon watching it reluctantly, but it took me by utter surprise, with 1.45 hrs of "no-nonsense", slick, thrilling and pertinent cinema... Strong performances, watertight script and eventually a relevant message carried all along... and yes, thumbs up to debutant Karan Kapadia, he's rock solid in his debut...
Highly recommended!!
Yeh Meri Family (2018)
An emotional, nostalgic ride into the 90s...
The last time a movie/series brought me to tears was way back in "Taare zameen par" when the "Meri maa" song plays... This series had me crying like a child when it ended... Family-bonds, 90s nostalgia, cute adolescence, school life and above all, some heart-wrenching emotions is what this show provides.. A GEM by TVF, not to be missed.. :)
The Tashkent Files (2019)
A gritty, gutsy foray into an unsolved mystery!!
Shastri's death was an incident which, with every passing year, was getting buried into the shades of time. To his credit, Vivek Agnihotri has re-invoked the nation's interest in the case via some eye-opening archived footage, newspieces, documentary evidences and informative bibliography. Whilst there will always be two sides of the story - whether it was a natural death or a murder and cover-up - the levels of curiosity which this film succeeds to generate with the viewers is perhaps its biggest asset.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 (2010)
the BEST so far!!!
The BEST of the lot so far!!!!!!! contents of the book are displayed in an engaging fashion, in addition to some witty innovations.. there are some spellbinding action sequences, in addition to some lump-in-the-throat emotional ones. the performances of the lead trio are excellent as usual. director David Yates deserves an applause fr his refined piece of work. the story is quick in some parts ans slow in others, as per the requirement. the climax is astonishing, and develops a disturbing impatience for the final edition, which will be released next year. half the story has been unfolded, and the remaining half is definitely going to be even better, as per the book-content. hence, great expectations have already been developed!! come soon July 2011!!!!
