Why Sridevi wasted? Even in this film she gave awesome comic scenes , which can be kind of cult scenes , this movie will be remembered only for Sridevi's comedy and songs , rest all ignored.

Ok , Mahesh bhatt , in , order to get Sridevi's brilliance , you can cast her into any film !!! Excpet Sridevi nothing was even ok. 9 for Sridevi only.

To start with , this role does not belong to Sridevi , it was Divya Bharti's role all the way. This role should be performed by one who has haughty face( Naak pe gussa ho) and Divya Bharti has that looks . But than Sridevi does performed with panache , again! It was better that Madhuri's performance in Hum Aapke hai Kaun and Kajol's Yeh Dillagi.

Finally Sridevi got a movie where not only it has more screen space than Amitabh Bachhan but also better role. The Movie is a revenge movie , hence at first seems to be Amitabh Based movie , but it was carried over by Sridevi . All actors and songs were awesome.

Nigahein is no Nagina, but one cannot deny the fact that this appears to be the first sequel in hindi movie industry and it was India's first and only female superstar- Sridevi's awesomeness that made it possible. Yes , it was not a good movie , it has more special effects though. Dance was not that made difference the way as in Nagina. Still , its watchable and good rating is because of Hindi movie's first sequel.

Sridevi is double role , it was little similar to ChaalBaaz's , it can be made better had Sridevi given more screen space. Mithun is usual , mithun in this movie or any other movie at this time, its all same , no change in acting. It is Sridevi who carries the movie on her shoulders.

Give Sridevi more screen space and see how fortune works ! Sridevi is the actor at par.

Sridevi , yet again , this time acted with eyes wide open. Awesome movie , awesome Sridevi and awesome dances. Story was ok , but at the time when it was released , story would have been well accepted. Another Kapoor(Rishi Kapoor) overshadowed by the Sridevi's might. Sridevi has been overshadowing Jitendra(Kapoor) from long time.

Film was well made , AB was the star of the movie , no doubt , but again Sridevi's brilliance cannot be ignored. Again , when ever Sridevi on screen , film's level is lifted.

Sridevi was far above the rest of the actors as this role can be performed by none other than Sridevi. Truely National award deserving performance. This movie marked the start of Sridevi era where Amitabh Bachhan , Rajnikanth , Kamal Hasan and other stars will soon going to fade away when they are cast with Sridevi.

Mithun was usual self but again Sridevi makes movie watchable.

Film was OK , but whenever Sridevi comes on screen , Film's level is lifted. Acting , direction, story , all was just OK but whenever Sridevi comes on screen , one can see life back onto the film. Sridevi has always make her presence felt even with small roles like this movie and Jaanbaaz.

Not a usual film , but than Sridevi stopped doing usual films long back. Sridevi once again shows what an acting is and what can legend do to the unusual subject. Sridevi brings all the roles into one : a middle class woman thinking of becoming a super rich , a house wife's aspiration to teach her children in good schools , a possessive woman , a Jealous wife , a rich and classy lady ... Their is even lot. A story evolves, Sridevi effortlessly.shased herself into so many roles in one movie. Again , needless to say , a National award winning performance.

Again , a National award worthy performance , especially the last scene which shows how awesome the Sridevi is! Very restrained and upto the mark acting , again showing a legend is always a legend.

Who so ever is giving less than 10 for this film , can they quote any other comedy acting which is better and more suited to the environment as created in the film? In this film , a comical situation is created more and appropriately comical by the "The Sridevi". This film further enhances the status of her as similar film "Seeta and Geeta" was the inspiration and other than the storyline , none was similar to Seeta and Geeta. Infact Sridevi enhances and creates entire new level of comedy thus inspiring other actors and directors like Madhuri Dixit , Karishma Kapoor , David Dhawan to say the least and none could reach even the 1% of what Sridevi did ? Infact she herself could not emulate until she acted in Judai. It would not be exaggeration to say that she deserves national award for best actress , atleast for comedy.

Best Acting , Best direction , Best Songs , Best Cinematography, powerful story line, and , no nonsense Bollywood type Masala!!! This movie will be liked by all at least once in one's life for sure , most probably during middle ages or beyond , and once liked , will always be liked no matter how many times this movie will be watched. Truly one of the best Masterpiece from Yash Chopra. However , it was Sridevi whose stupendous performance was beyond words can describe!! Her Non glamorous looks , actually , added lot of glamour in the film. With one of the best dialogues of all time , this movie is treat for both heart and mind!!
