Can Aliens Please Take Weiss and Benioff Away?
31 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
I've never read the source material but I can't imagine the 5 "geniuses" being this annoying and unbelievable - especially, Salazar. She is the most unlikeable character of all time and I'm supposed to believe she created some nano-tech that would have required collaboration with other people? What other people could stand to be in a room with her for more than 5 minutes. The actor who plays her is awful too.

Actually all the actors are awful except Liam, Wong, and the guy who plays Will.

The story has some great moments but those moments quickly fade as the "geniuses" plan this ridiculous mission to send a human brain into outer space.

It would have been a better story if they would have focused on what these scientists are really doing at CERN? Enough with the aliens from outer space garbage. That was done 50 years ago!!

But, again, believing these young scientists created all this and are soooo brilliant is so unbelievable that it is almost impossible to watch.

This is a 5 because there are some really cool moments in episodes 2-6. The last two episodes are ridiculous except that they finally get rid of Salazar! I was hoping she'd be wrapped after episode one. Ugh.

The Show has gotten so bad, no when even reviews
23 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I can't blame them. After E6 takes us back to the 1940's cast (thank you!) and shows a little Godzilla action, E7 takes us back to, the intolerable, Kentaro, Cate, and Coral or Conan or whatever her name is - I don't think anyone cares at this point.

Grab a barf bag for this one because if you thought E5 was bad (and it was atrocious) this one is almost worst. It back to "daddy, daddy" and switches to "I don't care about finding daddy anymore" and then "I hate you, I love you, I betrayed you, screw you....but, it's ok, we can be friends again.

The most ridiculous is Conan's boss saying "wait until we can find out how Godzilla walks." Like Godzilla, who can survive atomic bombs, is going to be captured by some tech company to be studied.

What the actual heck is happening with this show?

Almost Unbearable! Who casted this garbage?
23 December 2023
Like most of the other reviews state - the first 3 episodes show promise. They have a few minutes of monster action to keep you coming back. They also have actors - from the 1940's scenes - that can actually act and create a little chemistry. Cate, and her resting B face - Kentaro, a complete doofus - and May, ugh. These three are intolerable. Every scene they are in is cringe. Maybe it's the "daddy, daddy"writing and directing. Whoever cast these 3 should be kicked out of the business forever. Kurt Russell even sucks. Oh yea, where the F are the monsters? Garbage! This show requires willpower and patience to get to the 2-3 minutes of monster action, out of the 130 minutes of the Kentaro, May, and Cate cringe-fest. Can Godzilla please step on Cate and Kentaro...PLEASE! I'm sorry but they are sooo awful. The last 2 episodes better have serious Godzilla action or this will be the worst letdown of all time.

Kingdom (2014–2017)

Master Class in Human Behavior Polarity
10 September 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Let me begin by saying I haven't felt attached to more characters in a show since GOT, and Kingdom still might take the belt. Jonathan Tucker steals every scene he's in. His character performance is his masterpiece and if he doesn't have your heart in your throat during the Series finale then your viod empathy. Other bright spot includes Ryan and Kieths relationship. They play off each other like they've done it for 10 years. Ultimately I feel this show reminds us that no matter how superior we feel we are over others, we're all just putting on a show to hide from our human flaws and only when you embrace who you are will you be free to conquer your kingdom OR get shot! Yeah, that scene was bad. My only gripe. Since when does and armed bouncer get in the middle of a parking lot brawl only to shoot someone. Ever hear of wanting shots!!! Otherwise, be ready for great performances and emotion!

Accidentally Ran the Alternate Ending??
20 May 2019
Warning: Spoilers
First of all, all of these "1" ratings should be ignored. Immature, cry babies. Yes, the ending contains several elements that make no sense BUT, you can't discount the production value and acting even if the story doesn't add up. My 5 rating is to split the 0 for writing and 10 for cast and crew.

A few things. How do you exile Jon to Castle Black? It serves no purpose anymore. Wildlings made peace and the white walkers are dead, right? Then he just walks beyond the wall to live out the rest of his life? Really? How are the unsullied going to check him if they have all sailed to Naath, or wherever their going. Jon should have said " aw seven hell's, I'm going back to Winterfell. Later losers"

Bran " the broken" is king??? Nothing more needs to be said here. I'll just get stupider thinking about it.

Bronn appears out of no where at the new small council meeting and all is well between him and Tyrion after their last meeting?? Really?

I could go on and on, but the Jon Snow ending was unreal. His character was built up over seasons to an almost biblical status and then he goes out like a chump from Flea Bottom at the end.

Ay yi yi
