Obi-Wan Kenobi: Part VI (2022)
Best episode
This episode was mostly good, but the Reva part...I don't like it, it does mess up things in the canon. I mean the things happening to the kid... They would not be remeberred in the original trilogy?
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Part IV (2022)
Better than the prequels. But most things are.
Look, I feel any racism aimed at Moses Ingram (or anyone) is horrible. That goes without question. But the charcter Reva is not very interesting. So far the show is watchable. But I feel the young Leia plot is a bad choice - child actors are often a problem for me, although I am sure the little girl does her best.
This is still way better than the prequels and the Book of Boba Fett. But it could have been SO much more. Such a wasted oppurtunity. Really hope the two remaing episodes are exceptional.
Stranger Things: Chapter One: The Hellfire Club (2022)
Nothing much happens for an hour
Kind of dissapointing. When does the actual storyline start? Too much Hellfire club and basketball. Not what I want to see. Very little of interest in the first hour or so.
Clark (2022)
Why glorify that idiot?
Why would you want to glorify Clark Olofsson? There is just no point. He is a careere criminal, not some kind of hero.
This is just in very bad taste, think of the people who he has impacted.
The Expanse (2015)
Like the series, story and the books...BUT
I'm a huge fan of the books, and I like the series...but I have one MAJOR issue with the show:
It just looks so cheap. I don't like the production value at all. Which is a shame considering the material.
The Book of Boba Fett: Chapter 7: In the Name of Honor (2022)
Awful, terrible episode
This was a mess. Boba Fett was terrible. I liked nothing. How could anyone approve this as a season finale? Roberto Rodriguez needs to stay away from Star Wars.
Please - no season 2!
The Book of Boba Fett: Chapter 6: From the Desert Comes a Stranger (2022)
Some parts great! Some boring!
So this is another episode that question why they chose to make a Boba Fett show. Boba is hardly in this, and I am happy.
The parts that are great and interesting are the parts involving the Mandalorian, Grogu, Ashoka and Luke. The parts on Tatooine just look cheap and feel uninteresting. Considering the last two episodes, Disney themselves can't have much faith in the appeal of Boba Fett. He is a lame character, just a tired slightly overweight old man. And they have pushed the western influences too far.
The Book of Boba Fett: Chapter 5: Return of the Mandalorian (2022)
This was an episode of The Mandalorian
This clearly shows that the Mandalorian is a much more intersting character than Boba Fett. And to be honest, I don't get it...why make a Mandalorian-epsiode in The Book of Boba Fett, when Mando has his own series? It was a good episode, but had nothing to do with Boba Fett.
The Book of Boba Fett: Chapter 4: The Gathering Storm (2022)
Much better than last weeks disaster
All in all I liked it - BUT the "mods" or whatever they are called are terrible. And some of the aliens look really cheap. The trandoshians...the simply look terrible.
The Book of Boba Fett: Chapter 3: The Streets of Mos Espa (2022)
The person responsible for the bikers should be jailed
The biker gang was horrible. And the chase was a major offense.
So far not impressed by this series. And Fett has turned into a pretty lame character.
De slag om de Schelde (2020)
Not worth watching
I could not finish this movie. Very slow and boring (and I usually like slow movies). Technically well made, but uninteresting with mediocre acting. And pilots that do not know what a roll is.
No Time to Die (2021)
Don't believe all the haters
This is a great movie. I for one am glad that the Bond films have developed. I hated the last Brosnan-films.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008)
It's just not good
I really wanted to like this, but let's be honest. It's crap compared to for instance "The Mandalorian". Granted, there are a few decent episodes, but on average the episodes are really low in quality. I enjoyed "Rebels" a lot more.
Without Remorse (2021)
Why do they always ruin Clancy books?
A movie adaption of "Withouth Remorse" would be fantastic. This is not it.
And don't adapt it to 2021, the book was set in 1970.
I like Michael B Jordan - you should have given him a better movie. Why do movie companies always destroy Clancy adaptations? "The Hunt for Red October" is excellent, and the Ford movies are ok, but everything else sucks.
Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018)
Not that good
I'm not a hater of Disney, rather liked Episodes VII and VIII, and loved Rogue One and The Mandalorian...but Solo was very dissapointing. I had my doubts about recasting Han, but the weak part here is the story. It's just not interesting. Too bad.
The Mandalorian: Chapter 14: The Tragedy (2020)
Outstanding
Best Star Wars ever. It gets better with every episode.
World on Fire: Episode #1.5 (2019)
There are strange things going on here
I'm getting more and more annoyed at this show. Some characters are acting more and more odd, and there are quite a lot of unrealistic things going on.
And then we have this polish character that we are meant to believe that he has WALKED from eastern Poland to France...through nazi Germany - and that he finds his way all the way to the english channel?
World on Fire: Episode #1.4 (2019)
English troops in Poland?
Somebody please tell me why there was english troops in a polish forest? Or did I miss something?
Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
Let's be honest - it's really good (and cheesy at time)
People are allowed to hate it, of course, but I have a feeling a lot of them already had decided they would hate it before they saw it. This is a good movie with some cheesy moments. Compared to the prequels this is a masterpiece.
Game of Thrones: The Iron Throne (2019)
It's good. Don't belive the haters
It may not be the ending you'd expect, and I don't feel it is perfect. But it is very good.
Lethal Weapon (2016)
This is actually a nice tribute to the movies
At first I did not like this, I thought they should leave the original movies alone.
I didn't watch the entire first episode. But people kept giving it praise, so I gave it Another shot. Guess what - it's a really good show.
It's a different animal than the movies, but clearly it takes ideas now and then from the movies. Wayans is surprisingly good as Murtaugh, and the Riggs-dude does OK as well.
