I'll make this short and sweet. This is the best new comedy since "Monk." The writing is superior, and the acting, by actors I don't remember having seen before, doesn't let the script down. I hope they move this show to prime time and never run out of material. Watch this show and you will NOT be disappointed.

The closest comparison to another show I can think of, believe it or not, is "My Cousin Vinny." Without resorting to any spoilers, I can tell you that it's a mixture of seeming drama laced with clever, hilarious bits of dialogue, pun and just plain perfect situational comedy.I chuckled and laughed out loud all through the show, for its genuine originality. You will too.

I've always liked this movie, hokey as it seems these days, and have been watching the expanding career of one of the very few people (James Remar) who actually HAS a career. Who can forget his fabulously, over-the-top, maniacal portrayal of Dutch Schultz in "Cotton Club". I really hope there is a remake, so that they can repair one glaring error. These guys finally made it back to Coney Island; WHERE THE HECK IS THE REST OF THEIR GANG? I expected them to start banging on the pipes or something and have Warriors start appearing all over the place. Didn't you? Only THEN would there have been a high drama stand-off moment with the Riffs before the little clown instigator was recognized and buried head first in the sand. Anybody know more about the real possibility of a remake?
