Instant classic
28 June 2021
It's been almost 15 years from the theater release of Comodines. After all those years the film became a classic cult and a reference of the action genre in the argentinian cinema.

Why It has become a cult movie?. First of all, because it has the best music with "divididos"; iconic actors like Carlin Calvo, Raul Rizzo, Rodolfo Ranni and the legendary Victor Laplace. Secondly, the script: It has a lot of bizarre /impossible dialogs and references including a very wagish opening action scene which has never been surpassed. Finally: the budget. It is huge, and you can see it on the FX's, which also are going to make you laught with things that explodes 4 times from different angles.

Comodines is a strange, brave, funny, and unique film. If you Don't take it too seriously you will relax, laugh and be happy.

A mice goes on holidays

A neat film. Technically beautifull in its photography, guided with a precise and solid script. From when the world of the spoken ideas flies way underneath the ground of images and emotions. Where the languages collisions, with their effects and wounds. About the new spaces that emerge to create, the identities that opress and blind, as well as those that are lost forever. A very moving and necessary film, just as the performances of the main actors involved.

Production modes
22 February 2016
With the join forces of Argentinian, Colombian and Venezuelan production came this masterpiece. A movie which resembles the work of Brazilian writer Darcy Ribeiro, in it's deep sagacity as well as in their humorous touches. It tells the story of two characters in different times both in the need for the same thing in the jungle, but with very different perspectives. Based on diaries of travelers during first years of the 20th century, making a huge contribution for a sharp analysis of the history of South America. Highly recommended for the ones who want to discard the winner's; the conqueror's tale of Southamerica, and discover a true hidden beneath. As for the rest, beautiful environments well photographed, precise mixture of music with silences, and a quiet but intense pace.

Strong Movie
21 January 2016
Based on our city reality, and true facts. The movie is centered on Marcos, a 65 years old business man who is in charge of an illegal clothing workshop in which there are working mostly Bolivian immigrants. When all the things where working as usual, Marcos pace and routine is suddenly broken by Luis, an idealist strong newcomer who will struggle with his family for justice and for what he deserves. Good acting and script, nice photography, and precise music surrounds all the movie. Most important of all, It reveals a very important issue of Buenos Aires reality. It shows how hard working immigrants are treated and exploited in the city, using their illegal condition, as well as the complicity with the oppressive sectors of society. A cold and wise movie about oppressors and oppressed And how by living oppressed became oppressors.
