Before watching this movie i had lots of expectations from it may be due "Mel Karade Rabba" masterclass work from same writer and similar star cast. "Jihne Mera Dil Luteya" tries to fulfill those expectations very well in first half. Movie seem to be inspired from Juhi, Govinda & Anil Kapoor's Bollywood hit "Deewana Mastana", where 2 men were after the same girl trying to impress & propose her. The movie successfully builds up a nice story. keeping audience's interest. There's lot of laughter. Neeru bajwa has done well as usual. Gippy and Diljit have performed exceptionally well. There on screen chemistry was very good.

Up to this time, a thought came to my mind, this could be a milestone movie in Punjabi cinema and can surpass Mel Karade Rabba's record. But then comes the second half. The writer tries to do something different but ruins every thing in this attempt. The story looses its charm. Movie fails to take advantage of a strong base. After movie finished, i thought what the hell diljit has done wrong, why he didn't got the girl. The Hindi counter part "Deewana Mastana" was more fare where no one gets the girl.... :)

At the end, impressed with Gippy & Diljeet's performance. As usual Jaswinder Bhalla has done very well. He's becoming necessary ingredient in Punjabi movies. Over all, a nice movie which could have been better if more hard work was done in 2nd half. Must watch movie....

Today i watched Tannu weds Mannu without much expectations from it, but it turned out to be a good time pass movie.

First half is really like a roller coaster ride. Lots of humor with some 'beeped slangs'. It was really funny to hear Indian slags from Kangna who is playing a role of a bindass girl.. ;). As the movie move on you create an interest in the story. Unlike most of bollywood movies where you can predict every scene before, this movie is some what different.

Second half is comparatively slow and the story calms down with some emotional touch in the movie. Story becomes somehow predictable, but it needs to be that way. They couldn't do much in that.

Kangna has shown in couple of her last movie that she can also act a bit. Madhavan is good as always.

Overall it is a good time pass movie. Go and watch it if you are bored with you daily routine and want some fun.
