The story begins with a happy family, living their life as normal with their 6year old son, when he suddenly get's kidnapped by a psychopath in the lawn of their own home. The father unsuccessfully tries to follow the psychopath by car and later the cops find out that the kid, Benjamin has been killed. When the killer gets sentenced to 25years, the parents decides to kidnap john, the killer and get their revenge by torturing him.

In the beginning of the movie, they try hard to show that the parents truly are suffering from their loss, by using a lot of flashbacks. the only thing they got to show me, was that Erika Christensen was not the right choice for this movie. Her acting was not convincing, at least not for me.

When Elise convinces Craig to follow along with her plan of killing John, Craig proceeds by telling her it's not enough just to kill him. They have to torture him, make him suffer like their son Benjamin did. Which takes a long time to actually happen.

When they finally kidnap the killer, the torturing starts. The torturing wasn't to bad, looks painful, they even managed to make it sound painful. Feelt like I was being tortured there for a while.

Overall the movie was okay until the end, which kind of ruins the whole thing they had been building this whole time. And it all happens so fast that you might not understand what happens right away, and you figure out later that all their work was for nothing.

give it a 4/10 because it wasn't that bad, but not that good. It had a few good moments in it that makes you forget the boring ones for a while. I think it's still worth watching if you like this kinds of movies.

Thought this movie would be really bad, have boring moments, nothing I haven't seen before. But this is something new. Finally the bad guys win, for once in an acceptable way. I really enjoyed watching this, and really don't get the haters. think it's just a thing these days to hate everything you see.

we just follow a gang for regular people, trying to survive an alien attack. they hide, try to run for it. they watch them, hoping to be saved. and for once, they're not the only once still alive, with no cellphone reception. they army fights back, we get to see an awesome battle between the military and the aliens. and the effects are really good, just that makes it worth watching.

The ending is acceptable for me, they're pushing it I think. But we don't know all the facts about these aliens, so can't really judge that part yet.

The acting is good and bad, in some places. that dialogs needed some working, but doesn't ruin the movie.

I recommend it for sci-fi lovers, and gives it a 6.5/10.
