If you like your herrings blood red ...

Then by all means dive in. This film has a truly interesting premise and plot, undermined by crucial issues that make it nearly unwatchable, and frustrating when it's over.

The screaming. Oh my god, stop the screaming. Yes, it's a fight-for-your-life scenario, but the screaming by two of the leads drowns out any hope of understanding the dialogue. Not sure what most people would do when hunted by a killer, but screaming loudly isn't the best idea (albeit, a late plot twist potentially justifies their lack of staying quiet).

The replay. So some movies are a thrill ride that you forget once it's done and therefore may never sit back and play it over in your head. However, since this movie plays out in a non-linear timeline with at least four different phone's worth of found video, you kind of have to, just to make sense of it all. Unfortunately, the plot holes and near-inconceivability of it all is very obvious when you're not thrust from one grainy, jumpy video clip to the next. Just too many things don't add up.

OMFG the red herrings. It's this guy, no it's this guy, no it's this girl, no it's that girl. I get it - the police are piecing together the story as they view the videos, but this is ridiculous. Maybe there's an end scene after the credits that shows it was the morgue guy for all I know. Maybe the producers found one more character that wasn't "the one" for a short while.

Anyway, great premise and decent story. Nearly unwatchable because of these three major mishaps.
