When i first saw season 1 I was awestruck. I was expecting another of the Star Trek spin offs, which while good, can only be watched so often. This was way better. Then I saw the 2nd season and it was like, this just keeps on delivering. Season 3 was no different, I loved it, then I was reading the low reviews in IMDB thinking could they have changed? Finally I got to see season 4, I just finished it and all I can say is "What show were the people giving the low reviews watching?" because it was not Star Trek Discovery, it was awesome, I now own the disks for seasons 1-4 (plan to get 5 as well) and it is so good it is now in my permanent Sci-fi rotation with Star Gate SG!, Star Trek Voyager, Babalon 5 and BSG (both versions). Now I can see how some people might be dismayed by the show but the dismay is not quality of the show or the writing. There is one scene of the bridge where the entire command staff is female (awesome right ?), in addition to this there is not a token LGBT character, there are many of them (again this is awesome!!), but I could see how this might concern some of the old school fans. Do not let the bad reviews stop you from watching this, I will watch this over and over again until i die.

I spend hours combing through show reviews looking for engaging science fiction space programs. I am always looking for the next Stargate, Star Trek, Babalon 5 or Battlestar Galactica. Usually what I find in underwhelming. Then I find this show almost by accident. The Expanse is the current great scifi space show (along with Star Trek Discovery). This is one of those shows I will put into my rotation and watch it over and over again. It is a show i hope will continue for years to come. I am watching season 6 now and they shows continue to get more engaging. Usually I really like a character in a show, but in this show I love several of the characters. Many of the plots are unique ideas and not rehashes of older space stories. The plot lines are not predictable from the start, I am completely entertained from the start of the show until the end of the show and each show leaves me wanting more.

This is what I am looking for when I search for "Space Science Fiction" on Netflix or Amazon!!

While the first season was a bit slow to unfold, I did enjoy it and was very interested in the 2nd season. The second season was excellent and included more of the elements I like to see in a space drama (other planets and Aliens). The plot was believable and the special effects on point good as well. I am really hoping that this series continues with additional seasons.

I am currently re watching this series in order and as I suspected I missed a few the first time around. So this time I am seeing them in order and without the week long wait between episodes.

I delayed doing this re watch because of the theme song, it is like wrapping a pizza in a wet paper bag. I have always thought that the theme song played a roll in the early Cancellation of the show.

I think the cast does a great job portraying the characters and I would like to see them again. The first 2 seasons where great, I was worried about season 3 and the Zindi, but it actually turned out better than I thought it would. Then at the end of season 3 they did a Nazi theme, ugh!. Please writers, NEVER do a Nazi star Trek again. It was beat to death in previous Star Treks.

Also, I really do not want to see Enterprise in any manifestation destroyed or significantly damaged. It just is not necessary, let's allow the heroes to keep their ride.

Well that is about it.

From the first episode we have been loving this show. We did not find it until 2 seasons were created, we have been watching it and can not wait for the next episode. Not only is the topic new but the way it is being filmed is different, it is awesome. Then there is the acting, this group of actors really make this story work.

So I am going through shows on Netflix looking for something to fill the gaps between Game of Throwns and The Walking Dead. I found this show by pure chance. I decided to start watching it and could not stop. Interesting plot line and compelling characters, it is actually a network show and I get that network but I never have seen a promo for it. It is another show I want to see go on for many more seasons.

The rating the critics gave this movie is wrong, this is a much better movie that the star rating implies. While I can understand why some people "won't get it" (and the movie will explain why there might be lots of these people), Some people are going to love it (and at this point in time there should still be lots of these people). It is very important to watch the movie from the start. If you miss the beginning you will not be able to fully appreciate what is going on. I expect the people who gave the review missed the start. This movie incorporates many aspects of today's culture in an alternate view of the future, and while it's creators took the scenario to the extreme, the movie actually makes a relevant comment on the future.
