Discovery Quest: Billy the Kid Unmasked (2004)
Pretty Good Movie
It's a good movie but NOT completely a documentary. I guess that's why they call it a "docu-drama". It does show alternate versions of the facts of Billy The Kid's life and especially his death at the hands of Pat Garrett. It is a good watch though. If for no other reason, it's a cool way to get thinking about how things could have happened and you begin wondering if Billy did live longer than the history books say he did. Brandan Dean Halpin does a GREAT job portraying Billy The Kid. The alternate versions they give are all acted out so you can actually see the possible scenarios about the escape from capture, his death at the hands of Pat Garrett and they also try and see if each scenario can be proved. You won't regret watching this one unless you're looking for a documentary to tell you "this is exactly the way Billy The Kid lived and this is the way he died." You need a little imagination and personally, I found myself almost rooting for them to prove that Pat Garrett didn't kill Billy. I haven't made up my mind but they did prove, at least to me, that the 2 men who claimed to be Billy The Kid are liars. They have a man who showed the bone structure of both men and you can clearly see that, at least Brushy Bill, isn't Billy The Kid. Now John Miller is another story. The man claims the same thing that proves Brushy Bill isn't Billy is the same thing that proves John Miller isn't either but that bone structure didn't look as far from Billy's as Brushy Bill's. You can clearly see Brushy isn't Billy the Kid but I do believe he had a son. If he didn't have a son his girlfriend sure as hell had a son that looked A LOT like him. Anyway, that's enough of the spoilers. Like I said, it was a good movie and you won't regret watching it. The music playing in it was REALLY COOL!!!!
Good Vibes (2011)
Very Cool Show(NO Spoilers)
"Good Vibes" is funny as hell. I think it has the potential to be a long running show IF they maintain the same writers and don't try to make too many unnecessary changes. They do need to do one thing though. I think they need to add a couple of recurring characters to make sure they have a decent base for story lines. Don't let it get repetitive and therefor boring, like "Beavis & Butthead" did the first time. I haven't been watching it this time but hopefully they learned their lesson on that one. "Beavis & Butthead" started out funny but it got so incredibly repetitive because there were no more story lines for the 2 characters. Keep the good work going with this animated show and you'll have a successful, long running show. If you allow it to go stale, you may as well put it out of its misery now.
