So, season 2 arrived on Amazon prime and as a natural Manoj Bajpai fan I watched it on first day. So here is my review on season 2 only.
Manoj Bajpai is flawless as usual. No one can comment on his acting skills and praising his acting is like showing mirror to the sun. So let's move on The opening plot was actually very rich but writers failed to explore it. They failed to milk it. And that was a big disappointment for it. I personally felt Raji's character was one dimensional. I understand that because of her past she is not more than a soulless person but still there were so many possibilities for character depth. And given her screen time Samantha did justice to the character. Sharib is good as usual. He is proving his metal again and again. Bollywood should start taking this actor seriously and offer him more.
Mime Gopi, Anand Sami, Ravindra Vijay, azhagam perumal...what a cast...loved it. Each of them are breath of fresh air.
Now the bad aspects of the series.
I am gonna start with Milind's story...writer tried to address the PTSD through milind but failed miserably. Maybe Sunny Hinduja is a actor but the project I saw him in...never found him worthy for that characters he was playing, either in Chacha Vidhayak hain hamare or The family man. In this series he was not bringing anything on the table. I was actually reieved when his mailing dies in the encounter. Writers should have switched milind with zoya, Shreya Dhanvantari was much much needed here.
The actor who played Sajid...he was misfit at so many level. Every time he comes on screen...I thought of shutting off the show.
Darshan Kumar, I. Can say he was unused. And Darshan, what is wrong with ur walk, can't u just walk properly...man change ur shoes...ur walk was cringy Family angle this time is so so so badly written. I found Priyamani irritating this time. And why writing her office drama when you are not gonna explore it properly.
Now my rant on action sequence.
Badly choreographed and badly shot....in last action sequence...actors are hiding behind haystack...and huts made of hay...I mean seriously..a haystack...I was continuously thinking why bullet is Shivkant is not getting hit. He is hiding behind a stupid haystack....and the choreography was so so so bad.... Why attempt a one shot when u can't choreograph it properly.
