Interesting take on the genre

Give it a watch I enjoyed it. And the person that claimed liberal use of the race card and that they stopped watching after episode 3, I'm on episode 5 and the racial issue has only been brought up in one instance.

Give it a watch!

If I were selling it I would say it's is a next gen A-Team style of movie. Most of the reviews on here are from self important wannabe film critics that don't like the fact that Michael Bays name is on it. I liked the story line it's about redemption but with that Ryan Reynolds spin. The action scenes were done well and tend to add to the story instead of distract you from it.

How the hell did this do so well in theaters

Talk about a slow build up. This movie takes FOREVER to go anywhere, when it finally does try to do something scary, it is a lazy and boring attempt. There was nothing scary about this movie. It does not even do anything interesting until you are HALFWAY through it, THEN when there is only 30 minutes left in the film you get what feels like a rushed together and panicked explanition of what is happening. the only reason why this ending would have suprised anyone is because i dont believe the Writer/Director knew what it was until the day he started shooting it.

Great movie go see it

many of you people have some issues that you need to resolve. i will start with the people that say they were not scared at all by this film. this means that either you are a liar or that you lack the imagination and personality to engross yourself into the entertainment medium that you are taking part in.

next group: "it was disturbing but not scary." get a clue people! scary, frightening, horrifying, creepy, eerie, disturbing. it's all the same it still invokes the very same fight or flight response that fear is supposed to. you say it was disturbing because it makes you feel better than admitting you got scared

next group: "it looked just like the first one" yes it did because it was the same type of film it is meant to convey a sense of "this just might be a true story" feeling. i would not be as drawn into it if it was filmed like other movies. you are supposed to feel like you are watching a true story and the only evidence that was found was the security and camcorder tapes.

the bottom line is this; when you read a review think of the words people use and what it is exactly they are griping about. and as far as my review goes

if you want a movie that is going to make you think twice about opening your bedroom door to see what that loud noise was then see this one

I know its been out awhile, but i am still that mad

OK first of all to tall the reviewers that are claiming that this movie stayed true to its roots. You have clearly NEVER read an X-Men comic.

This is the worst thing to EVER happen to the title X-Men that i have ever seen, this movie was a disaster Brian Singer needs to be punished for what he created here the ONLY thing he got right was Patrick Stewart as Proff. X and yes i blame Singer for the whole thing because as the director it was his responsibility to make choices and deny choices which as far as i can tell he did using a magic 8 ball.

his punishment should be that he will be taken to an empty field and tied to the ground. then all the worlds X-Men fans will begin to stack their boxes of X-Men comics on top of him until we hear the "pop"
