If u want 2 watch, don't. Watch Halloween instead.
26 May 2024
It's pretty much Halloween, but with no chemistry between ANY characters. Op, Samantha actually has chemistry with her brother (one sided tho -funny but true). It even begins on 10/31. One of the sons was so far removed I kept thinking, is he the killer 😂. Plus, he seemed old enough to be the dad! The dialogue is HORRENDOUS. There's no backstory of Shawnee's character and Skully, just bits and pieces that things happened. Samantha is the only one who seemed real. Even the cops were lame and I'm a fan of Tyrese. The few fights that happen are dreadful too. This was tough to watch and I don't mean because I was scared. Zero idea how people are giving this good reviews. Maybe they're too young for 1978 Halloween 🎃 to know what great is.

The DUMBEST part (there are a few) is the rando female stopping in the SUV to ask if the cop was alright (when she saw what happened). Oh my goodness.

The music! The characters! Five years later🖤
7 May 2024
This story is sexy. It is a good time. It is love. It is heartbreaking. It's about being judged for numerous things that have zero to do with those judging and/or zero to do with the truth. It is about opening yourself up to life even when your brain says, "no, and here's why". Having fun and taking risks. It is the reality of being famous or in the bubble of someone that is and all that entails (much respect to Keanu Reeves and more so to his girlfriend and even Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde back when). There is much love, laughter, and heartbreak. I shed a tear or two, but life isn't perfect or easy. The characters pull you in, good and bad. I was engrossed with Hayes, Solene, and Izz. I didn't want it to end, but everything does in one way or another.

Read the book! There's some interesting differences that are both good and devastating each in their own way.

My Norwegian Holiday (2023 TV Movie)
9/10
WOW
17 December 2023
I kept seeing the movie poster for My Norwegian Holiday and I was turned off by it. Boy am I thankful to have finally given it a chance! This one was so fun and special. From the beginning cafe witness of being dumped, down to the end with the HS teacher "standing up". This movie was filled with an intriguing mystery, a troll out of wood, loss of family, a foreign wedding, a blooming romance, fate, and family of blood and of love. It had me laughing, intrigued, and weeping. I wasn't ready for this one to end. It was such an enduring Christmas story. I don't believe it was like any or many Hallmark Christmas movies.

Go watch this one!

The Christmas Secret (2014 TV Movie)
10/10
All the feels Christmas movie, quite precious.
9 November 2023
I had never watched this one before, until now. I'm thankful I did! I shed numerous tears throughout, but chuckled off and on too.

A single mom of two on rough times. You cannot help but feel the heartbreak for her, the kiddos, and how adulting can be painfully hard at times for any of us. I love Hallmark Christmas movies, even though most are the same routine. This one had numerous coincidences, that many might find unrealistic, but anything is possible, bad and good. This movie has tons of scenarios that mostly string you along until they come together. You can guess or have ideas in your mind for most. Yet this movie had so much going on at all times; a great Christmassy town, a delectable bakery owned by a happy gal, a quaint little shop of special gifts ran by a loving husband and wife (in real life too), and a close giving town of neighbors. This one was so entertaining and with various feelings during the holiday season, it's great!

Til Death Do Us Part (II) (2023)
1/10
I was fast forwarding a few minutes in, boring.
1 October 2023
I turned this movie on because it was supposed to be a horror. The synopsis said the 6 groomsmen are trying to kill a runaway bride. Of which had me think, zombie groomsmen or bride.

It started and there was no show of horror, but romance actually. Which had me wondering if the wrong movie turned on. I then began searching the internet to find out wtf this movie was about. Everything everywhere said the same thing (see above).

The engaged couple run into Jason Patrick (in a hat and full on beard making it questionable that it was him) and his wife while in Puerto Rico within the first few minutes of the movie. JP character seemed like something was up with him, bad guy, but wasted character.

The fact that Orlando, Cam, and Jason Patrick are in this, it should be good. However, I kept fast forwarding the beginning because it was soooo boring. I'm now 46 minutes in, I believe 3-4 groomsmen have been killed and it's still not interesting, not scary, or making sense. JP and his wife just came on again, scene from the past. This might get interesting, but again, not horror. Just because someone kills somebody, doesn't make it horror.

53 minutes in and I'm turning it off. Seems like everyone is a killer, but not horror killers. It's October and I was looking more for Halloween slasher scares. To each their own.

A Cheerful Christmas (2019 TV Movie)
1/10
WTF, how was this even made?!?! By Hallmark at that?!?!?!
6 October 2020
This "movie" was excruciating to watch. I don't even know how I watched the whole thing. I kept waiting for it to get better. It does not. The lead female, HOW IS SHE AN "ACTRESS"????? This "Christmas movie" was horrendous. What was Hallmark thinking?!?!?! ZERO chemistry between actors. The main lead is BEYOND annoying. I actually kept wondering if she was a high school student, but they ran with her not attending school, but working a full-time job 😳. Shocking! I kept looking to make sure this wasn't one of or THE very first Hallmark Christmas movies ever made, but it's recent. I've watched a lot of Hallmark movies and I've never viewed one so painful. I actually told someone this morning, at work, about this.

Save your life, don't waste it watching this.

365 Days (2020)
10/10
Erotica that is enjoyable, don't believe the ratings or bad reviews
2 May 2020
The overall rating on this movie is quite misleading, and that's disappointing. Hence the reason for my 10/10. It probably deserves more of 6/10 or so.

365 dni is not to be Oscar worthy. It wasn't made to be the best dramatic film either. It is EROTICA. All these horrible reviews on acting, explicit sex, fetish's, no plot, and etc. Disappointing if you expected something different than the great erotica it is. The movie photo alone allures to more.

365 dni is aspects of movies more on the lines of Wild Orchid, Secretary, Henry & June, Killing Me Softly, Delta of Venus, 9 1/2 Weeks, Red Shoe Diaries, and yes even 50 Shades. ASPECTS though, not entire scenes. Move along if you're not here to view erotica and forgo your inaccurate reviews, please.

Although technically the lead male, Mossimo kidnaps lead female, Laura, there's more to it. Those crying #MeToo or Stockholm, maybe pay attention to the lead male character, Mossimo, as there's more. Sex only comes into play about halfway in. The only body parts shown are buttocks and breasts. However, it's very sensual and there is indeed build up, showing we didn't need full nudity to enjoy (but might be nice). Yes, there are oral scenes with proper sounds, but again, parts are not truly shown. You must use your imagination, which is fine and works well in this movie.

The movie begins on a rooftop. A meeting between Mossimo's father and two men. Mossimo is there (along with guards), but sees a beautiful, smiling, dancing, happy female through binoculars. I won't list any spoilers. There are three languages spoken (Polish, Italian, and English). My subtitles only captured the Italian and I understood the English. I missed out on the Polish conversations, which was a bummer, but not too many scenes (maybe 4). There is death (2 count), there is the chance sighting, there is beautiful scenery, there is wealth, there is the chance finding, there is murder, there is drugs (one scene), there is teasing, there is sex, there is pleasure, and there is love. Sure, there could have been more building between the two main characters, but that didn't make this a bad movie. Sure, there's aspects in the flick that are never fully explained, but again, it's erotica and didn't make this a bad movie. Yes, there's a spreader bar, chains, and fasteners, but this doesn't make it a fetish film.

To each their own. Only you, the viewer can be the judge, but you must be open minded and enjoy erotica to enjoy this movie. As for me, I'll watch it again and be happy with it. Thank you.

Hell Fest (2018)

One of my top favorites!
21 October 2018
Is it Emmy worthy, who cares. It's a Halloween horror flick. I really enjoyed it. I loved the concept. It kept me entertained. I was tense most of the movie because it scared me. I need a massage. The ending was good. Is it predicable, most movies are, but this one still kept me on my toes. I'm interested in seeing it a few times each year. If you're a film critic, then move along.

The sister should have died first!
3 September 2018
Warning: Spoilers
First off, the synopsis for this movie doesn't describe this movie or you can say it very loosely describes it. There wasn't really much "partying". There definitely wasn't a 9th passenger. There are monsters. The passengers don't blame one another for the deaths, but once by the annoying sister (short lived too).

Why keep watching if it's so bad: For the hopes it gets better!

The build up, nothing happens until literally an hour in. The "smart/nerd" sister, holy hell! Her acting was HORRENDOUS. Her voice was excruciating. I couldn't handle it. Thank goodness most of her yapping is in then end. They never really show the monsters in full. Then the end, lame.

Horrible
2 September 2018
The acting is beyond bad right from the beginning. I kept wondering if it was a commercial within the movie. It wasn't. It definitely has major potential, but it failed big time. Such a disappointment as it could have been awesome. Zachary Levi's cameo was lame. The few movie references were cool, but short lived (Friday the 13th, Saw, Evil Dead). The ending was really bad! Glad I didn't pay money to watch this.

The Intern (I) (2015)
8/10
Pretty funny, great story all can relate to no matter your age or sex. NOT a romance.
17 September 2015
I caught an advance screening of this last night. The theater was close to being packed with men, woman and children. The movie was surprisingly quite funny; didn't know anything about it before viewing. The entire theater ended up cracking up numerous times. There were various times I felt bad for De Niro's character, but he was optimistic and didn't let it effect him, so it was great. There were a couple of instances I would have never guessed things about the movie. There is one scenario in the story that is tough; what would you do if put in that circumstance. I believe ages 20-80 can relate to this movie. We had De Niro's aspect as well as Hathaway's. Good storyline. The "Intern" group of guys were funny too. I'd see this again.

Overall, it was entertaining and I enjoyed it!
14 February 2015
Warning: Spoilers
True to the book. One important scene was lame; beginning interview of Christian (missed the mark). One scene was totally Twilight (guy pulls girl in, guy pushes girl away, and we're back). There definitely were intense moments/overwhelming moments. There are lots of boob views, but if ya read the book, then you should be aware that there's actual sex and nudity. Why does seeing breasts make you uncomfortable? We were all born with them. There were funny parts, but not because of cheese. Ended up liking both performers even tho they weren't my first choice, but who cares, none of us average joes get to choose the actors. It ends as it began, but so, we read the books, we know what happens (if not, YOUR choice). The book author was awful, who cares, hundreds of thousands bought it, the movie isn't written words that we are reading. This isn't a true BDSM portrayal, who cares, it opened the eyes of hundred of thousands to something they didn't know about or were ashamed to try, shall we continue to be so narrow minded and naive, enlighten our minds, so that we understand and know ourselves better. Women above the age of 30 are "all" reading it, who cares, why do you have to label them soccer moms and etc. Many females who read it don't have kids. It's porn, who cares, have a little fun, you won't go to hell for trying or liking it. It's rape, um, I beg to differ, the fictitious character consented, so, A it's not real and B she left at times, but always came back for more, equals not rape. It's emotionally disturbing, whelp life isn't made up solely as a box of chocolates! The male character had a severely traumatized childhood, give him a break to learn and grow, we're all only human, not perfect Mrs. Beaver. He's a controlling abusive freak, whelp, he isn't always and some people choose to give up control for a time, don't judge, to each their own. Overall, it was entertaining and I enjoyed it!

Insight to the future....
10 June 2012
Warning: Spoilers
1) We still cannot think to go left or right when a wheel of a spaceship is barreling towards us resulting in death.

2) We are scared out of our pants, get lost, but still feel compelled that we should get up in the face of something that resembles an alien snake. It hisses, so that means it wants me to pet it.

3) Women's pain threshold rises. We can have a C-Section, get up to run, take a jab to the abdomen from a gun and jump about 6 feet crashing into the "wall" with our abdomen taking the brunt.

4) Going without sex for 2 yrs makes us forward; you want to get laid.

5) Weapon of choice is and always will be...the flame thrower.

....overall, Aliens always rock.
