the music at the end of film during the credits is excellent all in French and it says Robert Redford play an instrument, great, Miss Moore looked great, use t0o see her often in Hailey. in the film several great lines are used as the main actor is a writer, and he improves after his reader Miss Moore begins to read several books to the writer. one of his students plays a great part.

Great film and acting, and photography
3 September 2014
I do not see in the actor/actress credits the name Michelle Trachtenberg who to me is excellent in this film, but she is mot listed??? The film give a great story on English Royalty in the mid 1930's and the sets and photography is great. The fact the couple spent most of their time in Paris France is not surprising, as the English population at that time were not to forgiving, and of course in today time. this activity of marring an American commoner would not even make the news. The photography is excellent, and as an ex naval WW2 photographer I may say the camera work is second to none. In general I like the story very much, but I needed to view the film a second time.

Bus Stop (1956)
North Fork Store
15 July 2014
In March 1956, the owner of the store told us snow skiers that a film would be shot at the store location. I was a roomer skier and spent the entire day at the store on March 19, 1956. Several men arrived early with wind machines, a bus, a small crane to be used to lift Marilyn Monroe to a false window opening for the film start. She was to flag down the bus for a ride, but in those days the camera shot too much of Marilyn's neckline for the approval of the censers. It was cut. Most of the acting crew awaited in the store when the 'fight scene' was filmed and near the end of the day a huge snow slide occurred between the North Fork Store and Ketchum due to sudden snow warming. The entire crew was stuck and would have to wait for the snow plows. Since the store was also a small restaurant, the lady owner started to give food, coffee, and cokes to all the crew. The big highway snow plows were still working big snow slides several miles to the northwest. After a snack, the owners who also played musical instruments started a dance, all had a great time, the road opened about 10 pm.
