Narco Wars (2020)
Wow! Just Wow!!
If you thought breaking bad was great and narcos was greater, here comes the greatest. I am amazed how there is not even a single review for this so far. The tale is so gripping and dramatic, it doesn't require any dramatisation. I am half way through it and will recommend it to any narcos or breaking bad fans. Just start watching, I promise you won't be able to leave your seat. This stuff cannot be scripted. If ever there was a tale that proved that Fact is stranger than Fiction, this is it. Thanks NatGeo.

Since i cant give a big ZERO
Zero was a better movie than this garbage. Heck even thugs of hindustan was better. That tells you how much of a waste of time this is. When you are getting a movie for free on netflix and you still are unable to watch completely, that tells how much of a drag this is. So many characters and great actors were not able to save this. They tried so much to be like Delhi Belly but couldnt come close. Better watch Delhi Belly for 100th time then this big bore
Joker (2019)
Imitation is the best form of flattery
When I was in the theatre, the guy beside me kept moving his head the same way as the Joker. I think this is best compliment to the director and the actor. He also took pictures of the final scene. I hope he doesn't get too influenced by JP. I have a nagging feeling crimes will increase post the release and that I believe in a way is a homage and a curse at the same time. Giving any rating to the immersive experience this movie provides would be sort of an insult to the effort. Do yourself a favour, watch it with strangers in the theatre and don't forget to watch Meet the Parents trilogy after coming out to get this out of your head.
Game Over (2019)
Too easy climax and too many unanswered questions let it down
While it scores on a new concept Indian movies, the quick and easy climax and several unanswered questions let this one down. The pov style detailed killings inspired by movies such as VHS will certainly be found as new by the Bollywood audience. Script was borrowed a bit from happy death day and a bit from Jumanji. Taapsee was okay although nothing new in terms of her hystrionics.
Zero (2018)
Absolute Torture!
Why didn't they donate the money for supporting dwarfs and cerebral palsy patients that was wasted in compiling this garbage? Unbelievably atrocious, unfunny, senseless, bizarre piece of... How on earth people come up with time, money and energy to create garbage. I thought Race 3 and Thugs of Hindostan touched the nadir of film making but this takes the cake. Please do your brain cells a favour. Don't expose them to this torture lest you are trying to test their resilience to recover from shocks.
Andhadhun (2018)
Sriram Raghvan is India's Martin Scorsese!
Like another reviewer said the movie is to be seen and anything about the storyline would be a spoiler. My 2 cents: just watch out for the numerous inside jokes on the characters such as Tabu referred as Lady Macbeth and posters of similar genre movies such as Darwaza. An ode to the past is just the prologue in his movies. Sriram Raghvan is a genius and a precious gift to the Indian cinema. 10 on 10.

Stays with you long after you walk out of the theatre
Laced with terrific performances HM lingers on your mind long after you step out of theatre. Not since Guru has AB sunk so deep into a character. TP was born to do this role. VK is the next Aamir Khan with his method acting. However the real clincher was AT's music that seemed to just fill in all the blanks when the characters were left speechless. Anurag Kashyap is a genius. An extra for the pair of twins who were like a break from the incessant hammering of emotions on the audience. Must watch!
Stree (2018)
O Stree Kal Aana...we will watch Bhool Bhulaiyaa together
While Stree has it's moments, it suffers from the lack of a sucker punch a movie of its genre needs to deliver by end. The biggest problem is that the Stree despite all the CGI, doesn't evoke the same level of terror that Vidya Balan's Monjolika generated with her weird make up and Bengali.
First half is decent and gives enough time for character development however I would loved some more screen time for Pankaj Tripathi. He seems wasted for a role comparable to Professor Agni of Raaz. Rajkumar Yadav is funny but the show stealers are the side kicks and their banter. Shraddha Kapoor speaks with her eyes but leaves several open questions by the end of it.
The real let down is the second half especially the climax where it seems the director was in a hurry to find a solution as he was rushing out of stock. So instead of a thrilling culmination, the movie manufactures a tepid ending and you are left craving.
So unless you are getting cheap tickets I would suggest wait for this one till it's available on DVD and till then if you want to get genuinely confused between whether to laugh or to get scared, watch Monjolika and Rajpal Yadav in Bhool Bhulaiyaa.
