Real Show For Teens
15 March 2004
Degrassi is one of the best shows out there for teenagers. It's nice for Canadians to have a show with characters that we can relate too, but other countries can relate to these characters too. The situations they face are real, and the actors are nearly the same age as the characters they play, instead of having 25 year olds playing 15 year olds. It deals with the issues in a real way, and doesn't try to preach at you. It breaks barriers to, such as a gay teenage kiss. The only thing that is a little unrealistic is that there are so many issues, like a new one each week, but they try to add in little storylines too, and it's really interesting. I give it 10/10 and recommend it to all teens.

Good Movie
2 January 2004
Cheaper by the Dozen is a good movie. No, it's not great, but how many movies are great these days? It's a good family film and is pretty funny. Steve Martin is really good in it. He's very funny. Bonnie Hunt is good too, she's funny and her scenes are good. Piper Perabo and Ashton Kutcher are great. Ashton is hilarious. I think his scenes are some of the best. Tom Welling is great, but I think his talented is kind of wasted, only because he doesn't have much of a part. I, like many others, am not a big Hilary Duff fan. If you are, then I'm sure you loved her, but I didn't. I think she ruins the scenes she's in. I'm not trying to be mean but I really think that being in a movie with talented actors like Steve Martin really shows that she's not a great actress. For example, the scene at the beginning when everyone is making breakfast and she walks in and starts talking about how she needs more time in front of the mirror, I felt that the scene was ruined by that. Anyways, the younger kids are great. Most of them are just there to complete the 12 kids and don't have there own stories really. Forrest Landis has probably the biggest story of the youngest kids. I thought he was really good. Alyson Stoner was also great. The youngest twins were cute too. All the young kids were great. Overall, Cheaper By The Dozen is a good family movie that's pretty funny and quite enjoyable. 7/10.

Black Sash (2003)
Black Sash Rocked!
26 June 2003
Black Sash was one of the best TV shows I had ever seen. I really loved everything about it. The cast and the characters they portrayed, the amazing storylines that kept me hooked. It's really too bad the WB cancelled after only 6 episodes. We didn't even get a chance to see the 7th episode. I'd definately give this show at 10! I only wish it had gotten a fair chance cause it could have easily been the next Dawson's Creek.
