I wanted something stupid and fun but all I got was stupid. This is among the worst movies I have ever seen. Annoying, superficial, and unlikable characters that have no depth what-so-ever. I can not fathom that this is written by, and for, adults?

To add to the insult, it's packed with crummy 3D effects, a couple of cameos of names that make some people buy tickets. Not even Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine (or Woody Harrelson for that matter) manage to save this steaming pile of magicians manure.

Even the music was so extremely lowbrow. The fact that this movie is lacking in every aspect makes me wonder if the whole production is some kind of joke?

Bonus (minus) points for the hilariously bad "twist" at the end.

Some of this movies abundant flaws might have been overlooked, or forgiven, if this title was released late 90's or early 00's. Sadly this is from 2022 and it's painful to watch already from the opening sequence. I do not envy the people who have powered through this atrocious excuse for a movie made this decade.

The one thing I can give it is that the release of this feature film just completely and utterly baffles me. I cannot grasp how this could be green-lit and made. How no one seems to have said "hold on a minute".

I have not seen every single one of Pixar's movies, but almost, and this certainly is the lowest of them all and I highly doubt they'll ever release anything worse. Avoid this one.

It's hard to decide what's worse; the terrible direction, the soapopera overacting or the lousy and convoluted script. It feels like watching a telenovela version of Columbo where they somehow got Peter Falk to act in it. Do yourself a favor and skip this episode. I wish I had read a review beforehand that said to skip it.

Wonderfully cheezy episode. This will go down as one of the classics from this iteration of DuckTales even though it hasn't got much of a story, just full of Norse mythology wrestling puns.

Dominic Lewis should get an extra shout out for nailing the music on this one.

Did I just watch a Lord of the Rings movie with the plot from Return of the Jedi?

There's nothing new here. I painstakingly watched episode after episode hoping the next one would deliver SOMETHING. It's filled to the brink with badly timed old jokes that has been done over and over. How the timing could be so off all the time and that the writing doesn't offer something new baffles me as there are plenty of big names involved who should know what they're doing. Got so excited when I saw that Fulcher had written an episode but alas it followed the same old path. Also the sound seems very cheaply done and also adds to the overall poor feel. God...nothing is funny in this. Also why are people saying "watch this with fresh eyes"? Sure, this would've been mildly funny 30 years ago...but this is 2018 and Groening, Fulcher, X Cohen are all veterans who should be able to deliver. Especially with the great voice cast they've got. Maybe they will figure out where they want this mildly schizophrenic show to go in a couple of seasons. Maybe I will check back then. Probably not.
