Terrifier 2 (2022)
Changed The Game
"T2" was not only a great horror (splatter) film, but a pioneer. The fact that the movie was not edited at all from their vision and yet still made the theaters is a major success in its own. They have paved the way for not only Indie Horror films but Indie in general. This film shines from minute one to the end. David Howard Thornton's performance has cemented himself amongst the horror legends with his fantastic follow up performance. It's grittier, grimier, scarier and even more cinematic than the original. Add that ti the fact that we get a detailed, long story and you have all the ingredients for a horror classic. Congrats to Steve Barton and the whole team.
Friday the 13th Vengeance 2: Bloodlines (2022)
Brooks & Newton Raise The Bar!
Being a director myself I am sometimes critical of my own & others work. But I must say, I was blown away by this film. The story, direction & cinematography was off the charts. The last 20 minutes alone is up there with any F13 Canon film. The music was superb & the lead actors felt real and at times tear worthy. One of the final scenes had Jason morphing from Vengeance Jason, to Sack Jason and then finally Part VI Jason (who was played by C. J. Graham himself). It was a goosebump moment for any Jason Lives fan The duo of Brooks & Newton along with Shawn Loutsis keep getting better and better. I am honored to have been part of it.
Buzz Cut (2021)
What a Fun Ride
Martin Renner hits a home run on this film. I mean why did we not think of a Bee Keeper killer before? Insanely good mix of comedy and horror. A must watch for fans. Another example of Indie films out shinning the studios.
Cherokee Creek (2018)
Bigfoot meets modern Horror
Absolutely loved this film. I mixes all aspects of film that I grew up to love. It's a slasher/comedy at times mixed in with some T&A. And a D also lol. Todd Jenkins pulls it all together in this fun ride. Can't wait to watch it again.
Second Chance (2020)
Another Classic
Rakeem delivers another creative film for the horror masses. He has been at it for a long time and its great to see his mix of old classics with a newer flavor. Simple and to the point. One of the biggest horror fans I know. His deep roots shine within his work.

Surprised by How Good This Is.
Wow,
What an impressive film made by a man with a dream and a cell phone. Absolutely love how they took Jason out of the woods and into someone's house. Reminds me of Part 2. It was a fun ride with a lot of easter eggs and homages. Great stuff. Can't wait for part 2.
Knucklebones (2016)
A Fun Ride
Love the comedy and gore of this film. It has a style that makes the viewer begging for more. Great work
Beloved Beast (2018)
Psychological Terror at it's finest
I loved the overall "quiet theme" for this film. It was executed perfectly by director Johnathan Holbrook. This approach in my eyes Made every door creek, every phone ring that much more intense. In addition it allows your mind to process the complex plot. Similar to a book each viewer can and will have different takes on the events unfolding. Combine that with the award winning performance of Sanae Loutsis and you have a new age thriller/horror masterpiece. Simple and effective. Transparent and frightening. A must see.
Death House (2017)
I was at the world premiere
I was at the World Premiere in Springfield MA with most of the stars. It was such a letdown. The most disappointing I have ever seen. Might be the worst horror movie ever made. Thing is I was wishing it wasn't. Editing and lighting were atrocious. CGI looked like Claymation. The Plot?.. let me know when you find it. Horrific.
