House of Secrets: The Burari Deaths (2021)
One of the scariest documentary you will ever watch!!
Woooow... What an amazing way to narrate a true story... Hats off to the director and the team... Yes, some scenes are just outright frightening... Even more than a few good horror movies. If you are home alone at night, please don't watch it... Haven't seen such a scary documentary in my life... And some scenes are very emotional. We'll cry, laugh, smile and feel anger all at the same time... Well done...
Thanx a lot for telling the story of a family of 11 which is no more but still will continue to reverberate in silence... Simply great... 👏🏼👏🏼
Cold Skin (2017)

Manusangada (2017)
Atrocities of casteism 😞
It's been three years since this movie's release n i got no idea as to why there is not even a single review so far. Am so happy to be the very first one to do it.
Not that this movie is a masterpiece or a blockbuster, but it's gut wrenching nonetheless - not in the traditional sense.
It takes a look into untouchability, lower caste problems, how people struggle 'cos of it and some irreparable results. The movie depicts an actual true incident, its harsh reality and what the people involved in it faced.
It is jus' a 0.5% view of what some unlucky people undergo everyday all over India. It's so saddening even in this 21st century how such stupid incidents happen and how idiotic people are.
There is no commercial aspect to this movie and can understand that might be one of the reasons why this movie didn't garner the large amount of viewings and publicity or the attention it should actually have had. Also, the subject matter handled is very delicate even for today's society.
The BG music starts only at the 46th minute of the movie.
The director, actors and the technicians have done fair justice (yes, justice is different from fair justice) to their parts.
My review is purely plot/story based and not technical-wise. The only drawback I saw was that some scenes could have been cut short by 5 or 10 secs.
If you have not watched this - kindly do urself a favour n go watch it, and remember, it's a true story - every bit, every scene, all the way.
Available on netflix.

Maniacs"!
This movie reminded me heavily of "2001 maniacs"... If you liked that one, you will like this one too... chk it out.. 😉
