Brand = Moron
2 July 2011
First: Brand is not Dudley Moore. He is without question a terrible actor who must believe that his ego will save the day. This is a guy you want to take in a back alley and break his knee caps. He acts like he is: a total jerk and moron. Hollywood should make all actors pass some IQ test before they are permitted to be in front of a camera. Why he was chosen is beyond me and I suspect some idiot thought that anyone with a Brit accent will do. This film is a pile of dung. If you like the story view the original. Why does Hollywood hire such flakes and expect us to like them?

Producers: this man is a total IDIOT!

Boring
27 April 2011
First off, it's impossible to provide a spoiler to this film. There is no plot, no real storyline, poor writing. We are brought in to the life of a rock singer during his depression (who isn't?)and find that his life is not as bad as most. There is no real conflict in the story or his life nor do we find some real plot that creates for interesting drama. Endless driving in a car watching the character watch the road. He is not real but a cliché' which makes it more unbearable. Obviously this film was created on a tight budget and to give the Coppola kids some experience making a film. Do not suffer as the best part of this film was the Ferrari.

Predictable

Without question a terrible film. Barrymore must realize that this is not her best work though she helped save many scenes. The writing was simple, plot for a 12 year old and offers nothing new. This film needed a better director and a rewrite before being shot.

The plot is taken from a few older stories and revamped. Its not what one would call Oscar material and not a "smart" film. Scenes were too tight and did not take advantage of the city. Lines were too contrived and scenes not very original. Its sad that writing has digressed and stories are stretched to create a full length film.

Do not waste your time....B O R I N G.

Poor attempt

Warning: Spoilers
There are many films in which casting is everything. This is such a film. Rogen makes the Green Horent too "Kosher" or should i say Jewish. Before alarm bells sound let me state for the record I am Jewish and I am pretty sure more so than Mr. Rogen.

His use of Yiddish words and style make the Green Hornet a nice Jewish boy from New York. Diaz was very wrong for her role as she attempts to play some sexy assistant. It would have been better if they hired someone who fit the part. She should be playing nice moms as this role was not her.

In the original TV version Bruse Lee plays Kato. In this version Kato has all the moves while the Green Hornet is some "schmendrick". I am not suggesting that a superhero must be like the comic strip but he should act like one. DO not waste your time on this dud as I had to when I was watching it at a friends house.
