Hellmington (2018)

Solid production values!!!

First feature length film by this crew, includes great camera work, subtle but effective score, and very fine acting(especially the main protagonist, Correia-Damude). Suspense was ratcheted up throughout. Wouldn't necessarily classify as horror, as opposed to a good old slow burn thriller! Look forward to more vehicles, from all involved.

The Waiting Room (II) (2011)

great production values, classy...hauntingly poignant!

"As a man sits in the waiting room of his life, he cycles through the present, the past, and the future as he prepares for the ultimate adventure of his life to Taiwan."

Well written, acted and directed short. I couldn't think of any other way to describe it in the summary, so I used the word "classy". The entire cast does an absolutely perfect job in this short. The cinematography is lush. The art direction is well rendered. While the storyline is timeless, the twist ending keeps it fresh. Pace is frenetic, yet transparent. I love the way that Williams transitions, from past, present, and future, seamlessly. Lighting, sound, and camera work were first rate. I felt captivated throughout. Keep an eye on this up and coming director(Alex Williams), as he is surely on the cusp of greatness! Reminds me of a young Scorsese. Can not recommend this highly enough.
