Icemen: 200 Years in Antarctica (2020)
Exhilarating
If you have ever been curious about how an expedition in the South Pole looks and feels like, either today or 200 years ago, this is for you and, apparently, for me. Wilson's feat is an enormous one and I have total respect for him and his long, lonely, cold journey. I just wish it was a bit longer. You will probably feel the need to search for some answers for yourself, since the whole topic is packed with stories and science.
Maniac (2018)
I couldn't justify it's length
In the beginning I was infatuated with it, the concept, the acting and the whole atmosphere and setting, but as the story progressed, it became clear to me that I'd much rather watch a 2-hour movie of this. It felt like some of the "dreams" were too long for their own sake, offering very little to the story. On the other hand, one could say that the connection and the relationship between the protagonists could be better established if we spend all this time with them in their minds, and rushing through these bonding situations would undermine the finale. So I'm not sure if this story would work in a 2-hour format.
