The Life and Death of Peter Sellers (2004)
A great portrayal
Geoffrey has vindicated my belief that an Australian/Englishman could portray this great comedian with good humour and acting
expertise. I wrote about this a year ago. As I have read 4 books (Graham Starks the best ) about P.S. and
have many of his films from inception I was not surprised about the tragic side of his life. I found G.R. getting inside the characters of who he was talking about was a little confusing at first, but it was used very effectively when Peg died and hopped into the coffin. I have a lot of admiration for Steve Martin, but I think he will be out
of character imitating the great comedian, in the near future. Like
some of the follow up disasters (Of portrayals of Clouseau without
Sellers ) that were shown after he died, by people who put on
insipid performances. Well done Geoffrey IT deserves an award
Mercury (1996)
Great quality OZ series Similar to Arcadia Waters series
Geoffrey and his fellow actors are excellent in this well written comedy/drama series that touches the nerve of political opinion and dramas associated with hitting a cutting edge in down to earth journalism. Michael Veitch produces a great part as a comedic drama character. Veronica and the others produced great quality. Alpal
