I liked the cast and I liked the story. It was a "comedy" but to be more considerate, it was a family comedy to me even with sensuality. I never watched a whole Nicolas Cage movie and I never really bothered to but it occured to me he was a good actor, too. And Tea Leoni (i think I spelt it right) was a good performer. She was Okay in this film because well, I never seen her act and she doesn't appear in big parts doesn't she? This movie, to me, kind of reminded me of Jerry Maguire (1996) and I liked Jerry Maguire a whole lot because compared to this, it was better and more comedic and more interesting. I suggest this instead. But otherwise, I like The Family Man a bit. It was kind of tight on itself but well, it was good. Good, as in average. I rated it a 6 because it is not good, but not close to bad either. So check it out if you either haven't seen Tea Leoni act or you are a vivid Nicolas Cage fan because that's the only two parts that will give you interests. Perhaps you have older kids in your house. Show them this piece of film. They might appreciate more things around them though. I might suggest this for people 8 or older because this is a PG-13 film. But afterall I think adults with a uptight life can really learn a lesson and adults who like smiles can watch this. But it can get a bit boring when it's close to the end, or at the beginning if this film does not interest you.

Okay, there's something about this movie that makes it just sweet and charming. I liked everything about it but at the same time I just hated everything about it. I thought it was pathetic and stupid but then again I'm wrong. Barrymore delivers a high school sweetness and charm and dreams to the screen. This role reminds me of Barrymore's Cinderella story: Ever After. And it got to do what she always wanted to be. The main character, Josie just funny and hilarious but well, like all fairy tales go, she ends up in the right place and ends at the right time. The other actor that succeeds to the fullest is David Arquette which I favor in this movie because he's just funny and just believable even though his role was not that big but his importance to be part of it. I liked this movie. 7.2/10.0

I saw it the third time and I got addicted to it again! It's so good! It's even better than I saw it as last time. It did have awesome acting, it did had a good script and it's got it all: romance, thriller, horror, mystery, a sense of humor, etc. It's worth the ticket and it's really good. Haley Joel Osment got a well-deserved Oscar-nomination.

I can't believe there are bunch of people saying this movie is not really good. I thought it was original and its casual self. It didn't need to be changed in any way. It was funny, bright, happy, and a crowd-pleaser. It can make anyone smile and there was never a chance I would say this movie is bad. It has imagination, reality, and everything mixed in. The ingredients are good and well done the actors were really good and had a sense-of-humnor. You can tell nobody forced them to be like that and you can actually see they are their own self. Oscar winner Whoopi Goldberg (Ghost) does a good preformance and Haley Joel Osment, future Oscar nominee (The Sixth Sense) was also really good. And whoever played Bogus, Gerand .... was also really good and I find him funny and would like to know more about him cause he's got talent and I bet he knows it! I like this movie and this is actually a very fresh and funny film for family movie night and it's a very good selection. When you go to Blockbusters someday, try to look for Bogus!

How? This movie was good. I gave it 10/10! I don't know why but I thought it was a good film for anybody. You didn't have to be a girl to watch this. Anyone could of had liked this. First of all-it had a story, a good start and plot too. Second of all-good preformances. Third of all-sense of humor. Fourth of all-A magical force to bring the audience to the screen. Fifth and lastly of all-Fun to watch and a good ending with tragedy but still, a good ending. Go check it out at Blockbusters now!

I thought Drew Barrymore was really good and I also really liked Brittany Murphy!!! This is Drew Barrymore's best preformance yet in her adulthood. It tells a great story of a young lady who is crazy and cute at the same time and just a normal teenage girly girl. She gets pregnant and that makes all her dreams of NYU and being a writer fly away. She is now a mother. At fifteen and with a husband, it's not really good. Her husband it played by Steve Zahn in his best preformance yet too. He does drugs, smokes, drinks, party...etc. This movie mainly talks about mistakes and what real people would do to make it all up. I thought it got me some chuckles and really made me smile a little even though it was like two hours!!!

Before you go harsh on this movie, this movie is a really good movie for some reason. It made me smile all the way. I just wonder: why does people take this movie so seriously? It's not like it's going to get a Oscar or anything or the producers were hoping. Despite the huge commercials I thought underneath this movie had some hope about friendship. I thought the cast was absolutely wonderful. Kirsten Dunst, Tommy Lee Jones, Gregory Smith, and Jay Mohr. They're all really fine actors. I thought making the things that are normally "evil" into good is a very good idea. It's always nice to make something that's not normally that kind into that kind of thing. It's really interesting to me. BUT this movie isn't really for like older people...recommend five year old boys. They might enjoy it a lot. Toys v.s. Toys. They'll love it more than Toy Story I bet because of all the intense action and kids love a little action involved. 7 out of 10.

If you are having a very boring summer...here...perfect film: Message In A Bottle. This movie nearly bored me but it filled my Memorial Weekend. I loved Robin Wright Penn in Forrest Gump which was a way better movie but this movie sort of disturbed me because it was sort of a drag. It was way too long. I think too many people take this as a romance/comedy. I thought it wasn't perfect. That's all. The only funny character was Paul Newman's character which was a lot brighter and funnier.

I saw this last year for the very first time and I loved it! It deserved best picture, it was Julie Andrews at her best besides Mary Poppins which she won an Oscar in. The child actors were great and every little bit of it will excite you even though it's just a peaceful film about a journey of life. I especially love the songs and they are just wonderful even though you hear them once a while...but still they are just great and the screenplay was wonderful too. This is a ideal family movie you guys are looking for a long and peaceful and apporpriote movie with everything that you want in it. One of my top favorites in my 100 list of all times!
