This has to be one of the best shows I've watched in a while. Binge watched it on Netflix. Great acting and loved seeing the Latin family dynamic and portrayal. We need more shows like this. It had everything I need in a great show. Netflix take it over if possible. It's hard to believe bad shows get renewed but the good ones perish.

Okay so I laughed like seriously hard. I had to rewind certain parts because I laughed over what was being said. Romeo was my favorite his comedic timing and personality were refreshing! Totally loved that. I know normally in typical Hallmark/Lifetime/Made for tv fashion these movies don't rate higher than a 5/6 but I have to say I was thoroughly entertained, now the plot of course is similar to other like movies but the comedy, silliness and additional quirks made it totally worth it!

I mean Katie Holmes was brilliant in this! I'm not a Katie Holmes fan per se but she exemplified Mary Meadows and personified managed mental illness, contradicting moral compass, compassion and honesty. The first opening scene was so refreshingly surprising and funny I couldn't help but watch glued with increasing intrigue. Man, you want to root for her and the calamity that is her crazy yet calm life is dark and optimistic at the same time. I felt a bit out of sorts watching it... and I loved that! Man I thoroughly enjoyed this film and Katie you were so amazing not one actress I can think of would've done a better job!
