Piece of Trash
21 October 2003
How sick has the media become these days? If the USA network were actually serious about making a movie to ACCURATLY tell the story of the sniper shootings, and not to make higher ratings I wouldn't have a problem. But its quite clear to every mind in the United States and abroad, that the purpose of this movie is to make lots of money over a terrible event that is too close to be immoralized in a movie. USA cannot tell an accurate account of the events when these events are not even over. The two suspects have not even went to trial and this movie has been made. WHY?!

I encourage people to not watch this movie. USA dosen't care if you don't like it. If you watch it you are supporting it. So don't watch it. It is a story that needs time to become history.

Ed (2000–2004)
Good at First, Getting Worse!!!
22 September 2003
I really liked this show. It had many things that you don't see on tv these days. First: It gave a prespective of small town life and what it can be like. I appreciate that since I live in a small town. Second: It had some good plot lines that were at times funny.

However(and I know for a fact that some of you DIE HARD fans of this show will agree in some way), this show doesn't seem to have much of a future.

The problems it had were that it didn't have much of a unique idea from the start. If the whole idea from the first episode is to get the girl, then you are kind of restricted as to what to write. If Ed is in a relationship with someone other that Carol, then that person becomes the "enemy" and must be taken out of the picture. Same thing goes for Carol.

Some of the plots were dumb, inasfar as they seemed to only be a tool to alow ED and Carol to have that "sexual tension" that TV producers seem to think the public enjoys so much. The one episode where Ed is sued because he helped a man whose car wreaked is just plain stupid. What is even more stupid is that the man won the lawsuit. That particular episode didn't have much of a plot.

This show did have the potential to be something great. It would have done things such as giving the public a prespective of American small town life, through the eyes of one of it's citizens. It could have given small town America something of a "hero" to represent them in the media. But sadly it didn't do any of that. Now it is in it's 4th season and doesn't seem to be getting any better. As I type this an ad for the season opener is playing on the TV and the premise for it is only that Ed and Carol will finaly have sex. That is all. I see what this great show has come to.

Really Good Film
13 July 2003
This is a really good film. I went to see it not knowing many of the details. I really enjoyed it. I believe that in order to appreciate this film, you need to have an open mind and not take it so literaly. I've read reviews of it in which the authors claim that not of the characters, or cars, or Nemos Sub, could work like they did. WELL DUH! It is a movie based on a comic book. It naturally wouldn't be for real. I wonder what these people take us for. The other great thing about this movie is the characters. Some reviews stated that people wouldn't understand this movie because the characters are not that new. That they've been around for a while and no one will remember them. The only two characters that I didn't know were Allan Quatermain and Dorian Gray. But I would like to know more about them. So that in itself is good. It makes you want to know more about the characters. Bottom line... It is a really great film. Go see it with an open mind, and not take everything so literaly. You may find that you enjoy it. Don't trust all the bad reviews. You should see for yourself. LXG is a really good film
