What b has a blm pride AND an american flag hanging up together? This movie tho wasn't as bad as i expected..i enjoyed some of tje creative cinematography, also the banter was cute ish but i do didn't understand them having intimate relations the first night when they supposedly hated each other/just met the week before. Also, Cassie had some really great and relevant points regarding the military but she marries this guy and all of a sudden it's cool? Her values don't mean anything? Also i'd hope she didn't leave her mom alone at home the night his old dealer threatened her mom. Also didn't see a point in frankie dying like he was so cute and young. Good chemistry tho but main girl sang too dramatically. But having two hot mcs is greatc? Decent for lovers of marriage of convenience trope.

Don't take my review too seriously because that mine is fine asl and i'd watch him staring at grass for 15 hours.

Well done enough, good acting and unique story that's fairly clear and comes up w a decent resolution but boring at times? Missing an oomph factor that even the main characters decent characterization and acting couldn't save.

Loved the pace and creative cinematography for this film . Joe keery put up a stellar.performance honestly. I was genuinely so disgusted by his character and he nailed such a unique enigma so well and accurately. I loved that i didn't know how'd it turn out.

In the midst of my momentary infatuation with dacre montgomery, i compulsively signed up for a week long starz trial so i could watch this lol..unfortunately it did not hold up to my expectations.. i appreciated the moments of sharp, witty dialogue and i think the protagonist's two best friends were so clever and funny. Unfortunately, i found the protagonist a bit too annoying? Also they couldn't have suited in her some more tasteful clothing - she was dressed like a 5th grader unfortunately. The movie was just a bit awkward and the lack of chemistry between the two main romantic leads was very evident. Even the shimmering gleam of pre-covid NYC can't save this one.

Seriously so good. Maybe a bit predictable but still interesting to watch. Really enjoyed it and maikas acting and what she brought to the character was sl amazing what a fantastic end.

Watched this right after i finished the book and was nowhere near as captivated.. i guess that's always the case with book adaptions . Felt like rosamund pikes amy wasn't the full spectrum of her, lots of stuff felt rushed too.

This could be biased because I have read the book. I felt like it was severely lacking chemistry and it was insanely rushed. I personally thought Sally Throne's book itself was rushed, so imagine condensing that all into this 1.5 hour movie! Doesn't make sense. It was cute at times but not sure if I enjoyed the casting..Lucinda was way more casual than she was in the book and not as clumsy and funny, but I would say Lucy Hale did a good job. I don't like how they tried to recreate Thorne's decision to keep the location unknown by mixing in random shots of nyc and chicago - just could've kept it anonymous or chosen shots from various cities or just one! It's a cute watch i guess but not as fulfilling as the book.

It made not much sense to me that finch would kill himself... i feel like it ended up being all about dakota fanning's character and idk felt selfish.
