Growing up, Atif Lanier dreamed of owning his own zoo or becoming a veterinarian. Through twists of fate and divine intervention he discovered writing and acting as a way to express creativity as well as social conscious. He first appeared onstage in a local church production called Christmas on Christmas Day, and later went on to play a sleazy Nigerian named Eze in The Second Wife. It was at this time that he began to write a script that would change his life forever.
While a student at Temple University, Atif landed the role of Scott Singleton in a student film entitled The Ultimate Rush. It was here he befriended Mike Pender, who would become a business associate as well as a close friend. Atif told Mike of the script he penned that later became the hit urban stage-play entitled 7 Days til Justice. Based on the life experiences of himself and those close to him, 7 Days til Justice is a story of bitter revenge over the course of the week. At this time his longtime friend Allen B. Snapper Adams began to take note of Atifs talents, and the two teamed up and started HarMageddo Entertainment

The Negro Zone (2003)
A satirical look at the stereotypes of black men.

The Negro Zone hit the ball on the head as it took a funny look at the serious topic of racism. I laughed so hard and my sides split as I watched so many stereotypes that I could relate too. Recently the producers were on a talk show in which the host said that as non black person she was aware of the stereotypes and thought that they were handled well. HarMageddo Entertainment is about to follow up with another heavy hitter entitled He Got Billz. Along with Mike Pender they are about to make another hit. I see big things happening for HarMageddo Entertainment. Anyone of color should go out and see The Negro Zone, you are sure to see something you can relate to.
