utter crap
28 August 2003
i have to say i cant usually spot mistakes when i watch films, but i spotted loads in this, it was quite good up until we saw the monster, then it became worse. the actors were terrible from the start. it is just a corny, cheesy piece of hollywood dished out on the bandwagon of teen movies to make a few quid. i say leave the horror and comedy films to middle age people or atleast no later then mid 30's. and tell the actors to try and not be TOO american. it grates after the first five minutes

Armageddon (1998)
TERRIBLE!!!
15 August 2003
Lots of people are saying this is the best movie ever. i think they are crazy. Everything this film touches turns to crap(unless they already were). Even Aerosmith crumbled. Other victims were the ugly guy from reservoir dogs, the big black guy from green mile, and liv tyler who looked like a promising actress. Riddled with mistakes which were supposedly on purpose. Just another MOR action/romantic film which attempts to use drama to be taken seriously. mindless drivel and a bad script. 4/10. But it was better than deep impact.

Fargo (1996)
Strange but true?
15 August 2003
This film is the strangest films ive seen. it is well acted as a

serious suspense drama. but the story and script turns it into a

soft comedy. i think its well liked because it isn't scary, but it is

interesting. it doesn't have cheap jokes, but it is funny. it isn't big

budget, but the acting is priceless. i can't find a fault in this film, its

classic. 10/10

V Graham Norton (2002–2003)
Bored Yet?
14 August 2003
When he first started he was witty, original and hilarious. He seems to have run out of penis jokes. You can hear the jokes before he says them since he went 5 nights a week. V V V Predictable. Also, i have never seen a chat host so far up his guests bums as him, he praises and praises( unconvinsingly) and then the next week makes a scripted joke about them. Even his script writers have ran out of jokes, now it is just Michael Douglas being old. A sad milking of what was once quite a funny guy. RIP Graham, You will never be the same.

"YEP!!!"
14 August 2003
Lets face it, americans are only funny in sitcom form when they are bieng excentric and "zany". This show manages it. Funny in a slapstick meets stupidity meets witty kinda way.The good thing about this (Like malcolm in the middle) is that it is played asif it werent a comedy which makes it funnier and gives more credability( unlike friends which is terribly acted at the best of times). Love this show Brightens up my friday night. 4/5

Malcolm in the Middle (2000–2006)
This is how american comedy should be done.
14 August 2003
Usually i urge americans to stay away from sitcoms(look at friends and frasier) but this one is good. The script is funny and the acting is as good as it gets. This show is THE MIGHTY SIMPSONS in real life form, and sometimes funnier. I hope this show doesnt fade out due to bad ratings( Like THE EQUALLY MIGHTY FUTURAMA) I hope it carries on as it makes american comedy credible( Which is quite some feat) I was shocked at how funny this was. Everybody should watch this atleast once. 5/5

14 August 2003
Why does everybody seem to think this is liverpudlian. Its set in Stockport, South Manchester. Anyway, this reminded me so much of my house, its sad actually seeing myself almost on TV. Very good, i only hope they do more!!!

It's A Cup Father

This will be missed. This is the show that actually made Graham Norton appear funny for more than a minute, it must be genius. Funny without trying and puts crap like Friends and My Family to shame.Shame the stupid one (I forget his name) has spoilt himself with my hero, he deserves better. One of the best.

Friends (1994–2004)
Repetative!!
14 August 2003
This show is made worse by the hundreds of over crap American sitcoms trying to imitate it. It is also made worse by the irritating laughing track, actors who try to be funny and boring jokes. The funniest character is pheobe, and chandler has his moments( so does monica, very rarely) but ross is irritating, rachael is let down by a terrible actress, and joey plods along with a few catchphrases. Sadly the characters arent forgettable( Oh i wish they were) And it is constantly shown on about 5 channels. Time for something new America. I say this knowing friends is the funniest thing america has ever produced (apart from britney and crossroads) so we arent going to get better than this from USA. Just stop making comedy America.

Absolutely Fabulous (1992–2012)
Doesnt work anymore!!
14 August 2003
This show hasnt been good since they became "gay icons" and started to follow trends half convinsingly. It was more entertaining when patsy was stuck in the early nineties and eddy looked bad all the time. Now they seem to be fashionable and likeable. Its dieing a sad death. The characters were once detestable which made their jokes work and made them as funny as they were. Now they aint as vain, innapropriate, excesive or fancy free as they once were. They have lost their need to exist in sitcom land and blend in with all the other MOR characters who once were groundbreaking. Stop it now saunders and get back with frenchy. YOU TWO ROCKED.

EastEnders (1985– )
TERRIBLE!!!
14 August 2003
This is the most depressing, bad acted, terribly scripted piece of rubbish on T.V. It is strung together with a load of cliched expressions (e.g. "It's Family" AND " Will You Mind My Stall") It is acted by a load of whispering cockneys who couldnt look animated if they were electricuted. Terrible Boring and a Big Waste of Time!
