I'm a big fan of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre series and I feel that having it be based on a true story just adds to it's creepy and frightening vibe. I looked up if there was any movies based directly on Ed Gein and I found two. I saw trailers for both and this definitely looked the worst of the two. Mainly due to the inconsistencies compared to the real story, especially with the actor who played Ed, he looked nothing like him. So I put it off for two years until I finally found it on Netflix. It was only about and hour but trust me, it's an hour I wish I had back. The film is full of continuity errors, ongoing subplots, and an overall non creepy atmosphere. It just made me wish I was watching the Texas chainsaw massacre instead.
