Terminator, Aliens, Titanic all were great movies with James Cameron stamp on them. Avatar in 2009 too became one of its kind. But Avatar :The Way of the Water, not sure it really make some difference.

There were 5 brains invested in the story department. But one integral part missing in the movie was a story. The special effects were very realistic and outstanding. But seriously, for a layman the effects seen in the 2009 version and this sequel is not really different or great, its all the same. It was same old illumintaed algae, sea.shells, underwater creatures, terrains all the same. To an extend, felt like watching underwater edition of Planet Earth documentary.

Ok, now what about a sensible story? The theme is very very weak. The story never justifies all those spectacular special effects. There is nothing to hook you to the plot. Its too shallow. Even a 3 year old can predict what is going to happen. There is a huge disconnect between the story and audience. The movie doesn't converse with audience's mind. Personally did not digest the idea of hunting an ex-marine who has already left the field and living a life minding his own business. There is no strong motivation for a revenge. There was not a single moment in the movie where I could say 'Wow this is awesome'

I would say, James Cameron should not end his iife hanging behind this Avatar series. He should realise that Avatar is already achieved what it could've achieved and nothing interesting is going to come out from this Blue Men Group. The more he churn out of the same, people will get bored. He should invest his time and energy for his quest for special effects in meaningful movies. I would love to see more iconic movies from Director James Cameron, and definitely not more of the blue people tragedies.

I just finished watching Season 1 and quite liked it. I guess first time watching a Finnish series and it was not disappointing. But... the music really sucks. Sounds very amateurish. Some random slow piano pieces in a loop mode scattered here and there. Just don't have any connection with the story, situation or emotions. Felt really annoying. Rest is commendable.

The plot has nothing new to offer. There is nothing much done to make the simple plot look interesting. But its very predictable and uninteresting. There are much better revenge films. Over-rated!

Please don't attempt a part 2 of this cliché crap. No substance. No class. Would've worked if made 20 years ago. Not worth the time.

This movie is much better than what's been expected. It's definitely not just another scary movie but has its own novel aspects to keep you in the edge of seat. Worth a watch!

Movie has some good action sequences, but definitely not a great movie. What was the importance of Tony Jaa's character? Why was he there at all? Jin Zhang is a good martial artist but fall flat on his acting skills.

Agree or disagree, this movie is not great at all. I didn't watch it with great expectations but thought it would turn out to be a decent one as I've really liked the Director's previous 'Being Cyrus'. Casting is the only plus point I see in this movie. The plot doesn't have the grip to glue the viewer to the movie. Story is about searching for a person and the events are very flat and dull. Very boring I must say. Not complaining about not having the regular Bollywood ingredients but this movie could've been better. Narration style was not interesting. Felt like the mood of the movie was going off at places.

What a waste of time! I suggest people who're planning to watch this movie, Please don't go by the rating it has got. This is such a TRASH MOVIE you will always repent for. I found this movie very boring and amateurish. Maybe small kids will get frightened seeing this but I bet a grown up will find this movie very laughable. Wonder how come people like Joss Whedon ended up producing this trash. You will get to see a lot of zombies and creatures and high amount of gore. But the question is what for? There is no strong story. Completely illogic plot. Unnecessary special effects. Overall a complete let down. Watch it at your own risk. The movie is really gonna test your patience..Big Time!

This movie plot is adapted from S.Korean movie "Akmareul Boatda" (I saw the Devil) released in 2010 directed by renowned Korean director Woon Kim-Jee. Though the story is different, the main plot remains the same. Myshkin has done his homework and intervened a new storyline to the source. There are lot of movies coming out in Tamil with interesting themes. I think its time to doubt almost all the Tamil directors who churn out innovative movies. Interesting part is that the background score usage is also inspired from the parent movie. Nothing wrong in inspiring, we can observe and learn the technical sides, storytelling methods and all those sort of things from International movies. I think Cheran was a mis-fit in this role.

I think I've really enjoyed the movie "Gulumaal". I like VKP's film making style. But it was a surprise to find out that this is heavily adapted from Fabian Belinsky directed "Nine Queens" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0247586) starring Argentinian actor Ricardo Darin. Despite the adaptation, Y.V. Rajesh has worked hard to localize the plot. Its good to watch movies with fresh themes. But not likely movies adapted from World Cinema. Inspiration is good to an extent, but translating the movie plot is not advisable. Fabian Belinsky impressed us with his thrillers. Do checkout his "El Aura" its another great movie by the director.

This movie is the Hindi version of the Malayalam Hit - Mutharamkunnu PO, directed by Sibi Malayil and written by Jagadish in association with Sreenivasan. Jagadish appears in this movie as well and enacts the same role he handled in the original version. Checkout http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0237479/. I prefer the original version better. Rajpal Yadav has done pretty good. Movie is worth watching. As per the star cast and localities, it reminded me the Malamaal Weekly premise. Its been shot in the same place. The way the movie is taken will confuse the viewer whether its a Priyadarsan movie. But its not. And Rajiv kumar has done a decent job directing this one without spoiling the actual movie.

"Hello My Dear Wrong Number" been one of my favorite films from Priyadarsan. This one has a great song "Nee En Kinavo" as well. Priyadarsan makes flawless funny movies. But I doubt if he had worked on any ORIGINAL SUBJECT till now. This movie is a clear cut inspiration from Alfred Hitchcock's "North By Northwest". It should be noted how cleverly Priyan interwove additional characters into a lifted story and creates a new story with local flavor. I think that's what gets him going. Priyan have come a long way in films. And still he is busy churning out re-makes. I wish he put his talent to an original concept. All the best for this ace director!

I have seen this movie after 20 years of its release. I should admit that this is a good time-pass stuff. One of the funniest movies Priyadarsan ever made. There might have inspirations from various sources but this one surely makes you laugh. It is great fun to see Mohanlal and Mukesh in their young age. Sukumari proves that she's fit and flexible for any roles. Though among the heroines, only Lisy stands out. You can rent it if you could get it. Anyway, I'm not saying its a comedy classic, neither it has perfection in direction, story, screenplay but can simply say wit at its best. I give a 7 out of 10. Now get ready for the laugh riot...hi hi hi

I wonder what made Paul Anderson go for making this nonsense movie. Alien Vs. Predator would've best remain in comic book. I have to say this is the worst film version of comic book. I am asking...whats in this movie thats at least 1% interesting??? I had some respect for Paul Anderson for making some watchable movies like MK, Soldier and Resident Evil. But its gone down with this movie:(

Only children will like this one...I bet I heard he's denied MK3 for making this Alien Vs. Predator . Making MK3 would've been better. ANYWAY...My ranking for this movie would be 3/10

One of the Best comedy films I've ever seen. This film is a must see for all those who like good comedy. A real fun filled film which conveys a thru a serious plot. Excellent performance by Naseeruddin Shah and Satsh Shah:)
