Acapulco (2021)
I freaking love this show
WRITTEN AFTER WATCHING S2E6
I cannot quite put my finger on it, but there is just something about this show and the feeling it gives me when I watch it. It is fun. It is lighthearted. It is funny. It pulls you in. Each episode is so heartwarming, in a way eerily similar to, but not the same as, Ted Lasso. Somebody at Apple TV has figured out some secret code to unlocking these hidden gems.
The production is top notch, it feels authentic, and the storytelling is well-paced, while the acting and even soundtrack are excellent. I could go on about all of the characters and how brilliantly each one is brought to life by their respective actors/actresses, but kudos must be given to young Máximo and the tongue-in-cheek humour throughout - well played.
Love it; more please.

Weirdos make great superheroes
Great start. Bob's Burgers quality writing with a well composed soundtrack so far. This is a musical, and it's a pretty good one so far (2 episodes available at time of review).
