I've been reading a lot of low reviews for this movie because people were disappointed in it. I can tell you that it was well worth the watch for me and I am recommending it to people. There were plenty of thrills. I watched it alone, in the dark. A boy and his mother relocate to the mountains to stay in a home away from their everyday life after a tragic accident. The home is owned by the mother's sister who is selling the home. While they're staying there an open house is scheduled to show the home to potential buyers. At first the home seems like it's haunted, then as the movie ends you find out it is something entirely different.
SPOILER ABOUT THE ENDING! I think most people were upset because the filmmakers switched the script on the film. It wasn't paranormal at all, but a psycho killer who plays with his victims for a while before he goes in for the final kill. This particular psycho likes to find his prey by visiting open houses and hiding in the house after the real estate agent leaves, then he slowly taunts his victims before deciding to kill them, and then he moves on to the next open house to find his next victims.
