When I started watching this anime I honestly say I only expected some good fun maybe , the most, interesting characters, thats all.

I wouldnt have dreamt of this anime dealing with such important and deep humanity related, life related, philosophical questions , nor I expected them being presented in an interesting way , yet in an open but indepth way.

SO yes I would recommend this anime highly and I would ask of people not to watch it shallowly (like I see some of the people who left reviews on this one, did). This anime is so worth the time spent on it!

I usually do not rate things with high marks no matter how much I love them or enjoy them, but this one did deserve this score.

I know to those who watched KJG may look just like a fanservice anime. But the humanity and societal values described in it are something to be admired. Namely the relationships of the girls in the show...they all are opponents in jet racing but outside of it they are friends and they care for each other and that is an important message that should be bestowed on the women and girls of the world who are wrongly taught by patriarchal society that they should be enemies and hate each other and bring each other down. So when you watch this anime carefully what it teaches us is worth respect. That is why I truly am glad I gave this anime a chance and would recommend watching it to anyone, but not to those who d enjoy shallowly only the fanservice part of it. (That is why I do not understand why the studio which worked on the anime decided to make it into a fanservice one but what to expect of the studio which created Valkyrie Drive xD Dont get me wrong... I love Valkyrie Drive, dont hate me xD)

Of course that only amazing and interesting can come out when you put ryder and reeves together. I diiislike what is called romantic comedies in every sense but I m glad I have given this one a chance.

Nowadays although small and big screen items are produced at such speed rate and there is so much to watch you d need 10 lifetimes to go through it all...I can hardly get drawn in and surprised in a good way by anything.

But this one is a little cute and very well done gemstone. I purposefully avoided Glee thinking I cannot handle a musical as swries but Zoeys playlist is just so cute and amazing in its own way and musical choices are soooo nice and top notch. And for all generations,as well.

I watched this as a child,I kept watching it few times as I was growing up and the sheer true horror that makes your blood curdle....makes this film one of the best ones ever made,and not only in the horror genre lieu,but in general!

Most objectivelyspeaking! This is a true gem of the horror genre,when we talk about genre itself.

I think that I will forever be stuck with one question in my mind...

How could the same director produce such a good movie,movie very well done,like The Perfect Ending,but before that and after that make a string of bad,hardly believable movies,such as this one for example...

The score this movie has is undeserving...

Why did I do myself a disservice of wasting time on this one I will never understand. But unfortunately this type of mistake has to be made from time to time 🙄😒😒😒

This was such a nice,unexpectedly nice surprise!

Storyline,cast chosen...just wow! Time well spent!

It was a truly beautiful film in overall,in every aspect!

Ann Skelly really gave such a performance!

I m not for period drama but for her acting itcwas really worth investing time.

I cannot say that I didnt like the movie. Usually not many movies managed to havey utter attention like this one did,from start till the end,so I guess it says I liked it.

Debicki was brilliant! And I think it is not enough of a praise for her performance.... But brilliant and compelling is close enough.

But it was sad to see that what took away from the movie to garner the same praise was the Arterton's performance... She didnt find her footing (or so it seemed) until the second half of the movie. At first she was so bland,nonexisting... But then she improved. Unfortunatelly not on time,in my opinion... I guess the casting should have had been better done,but alas...

As for the others...every other role was from my perspective very well fulfilled and I like that the attention had been paid to so many little things which can end up spoiling a good project. So 👍

Story line, an array of magnificent badass women characters, an array of in general very interesting characters, unpredictability, mystery , the best fighting scenes in the history of television, I think also one of the characters def the most mysterious character ever created, .... I dont know what next to put on the list because there is just soooo much!

The Nevers is going to be,if it already isnt,one of the greatest tv shows ever created,in every single sense! I mean it! And I say it as an avid tv show watcher!

Go watch it ,you wont be disappointed! Nope!

Not to forget to mention the ode the movie properly payed to everything MK, from the MK team song, to tribute to the characters who didnt appear in this movie but were simbolised like Kitana, Shao Khan etc... And the characters who appeared in this movie were properly established in their own right! I liked the choice of actors, too. Well not all of them but they were fine. Jesica was more than a good choice for Sonya, FINALLY! I mean I love Jery Ryan, but this is the first proper Sonya Blade and Jesica was simply born to play her!

One cannot take a stab at this MK movie...

And I say that as someone who is not a fan of fighting movies and superhero character typ3 movies because all of them end up shallow and stupid, but I also say this as a fan of MK!

So, the movie was very well done from the very beginning, first with visuals, second with the back storyline. Fighting scenes also amazing. I tried to find the flaw in the movie so I can take a stab at it, and write that it, like all of the previous bad MK movies, ruined my fav video game of all times. But this time I cannot say that, I cannot do that. I cannot say that the movie couldnt have been slightly better, it surely could have had been, but I can also find few flaws which didnt cause the chink in the movie in overall. I rarely nowadays enjoy a movie because movie makers actually do not put so much effort into making movies of any kind... But this time I say I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Now, the two flaws I found were a bad acting at one point and some pointless dialogue... But it was like 10 seconds out of the entire movie. And the second was, which made me very sad, nonexistence of the Earth princess Kitana in this one. She ahould have appeared instead of that frivolous monster Mileena. I MEAN for the very FIRST time in the MK franchise we have a more than a decent movie and there is no Kitana? 😕

Anyway, very enjoyable movie and so worth going to cinema to watch it!

And all of you mist admit that Goro looked amazing and that in the end even Mileena didnt disappoint turning into the monster she is.

I hope that all of the MK fans are happy with this movie.

To be honest, to find 2 good lwl movies coming one after another was the mission impossible... Until now... I thought that nothing would have had given Ammonite run for its money any time soon, but I was proven wrong by the World to Come and I am so glad!

I'm a picky movie audience... And always scaredto have my hopes upcoz nowadays movies are just... Well, not to my satisfaction and rarely can any hold my attention.

But The World to Come had it straight from the very beginning, unwaveringly, up to its very end! It was that good!

I can only praise it, the overall execution in its every aspect, and recommend it.

Goes to my favorites list!

Thanks to the amazing movies like this one I truly think of watching old era movies because every single one of them is enjoyable, unlike modern ones.

All due respect to Knudsen, she almost saved the movie and it was only worth watching for her. However movie as a movie... Waste of time! Complete waste of time.

Yup this is not only unscientific thong but empty blablaing from few people who believe in the simulation theory. I m not saying that in discriminative manner but objective. Nothing worth watching for for even a second.

To say I was almost left speechless is understatement! We need more movies like these! Well... Now I regret all this time spent not giving Japanese and Korean production enough time and space in my life. This is a must watch! At least in my opinion!

No wonder it took so many awards!

If one were allowed to submit the review with one word BORING would have been more than enough.

I know the art afficionados might be just hating on me now, but hell this was boring for those 2 hours and some. And for all those hoping to see a blossoming of a relation between two beings were robbed of that experience.

Boring exactly like a painting one puts up on a wall and stare at one and the same scene till the day one dies...

This is a rare opportunity that I am, happy to leave a review... Although I know review is not something objective, relying on ones own proclivities...

First and most important, the lesbian community truly has nothing to comolain about after this movie. If they do... It will be so wrong!

Although the movie was more silent than not, the silence was very well used by the actresses... What hasnt been said was very well shown...

Choice of music also very well done...

I guess the producers wanted to make a romance movie and in that they excelled... And it was nice to see that things for almost the first time if not the first time were shown openly and NOT (and that is the difference and where the beuty lies) from the perspective of male gaze.

Fiona Shaw was a very good addition to accentuate and balance things out...

I cannot say more but that I truly am taken in a positive way by the movie and if it doesnt get nominated and even take away many Academy and other awards, it will be a shame...

This anime doesnt even have the point of its own existence. Stupid stupid stupid! I v lost precious time watching it!

Well.... To be honest... Thw movie had a potential... From a rather lovely and ok cast, through story, even effects... It was not just a cheap chip off or something... Effort was made... But in the end the editing, cutting, piecing things together did the damage, I d say... Something was lacking and edit was, I assume from my stand point, bad, so... But the material was good and somethi g could have had been done with all of it to make the movie truly compeling instead of letting people looking forward to the end so just to be done with watching the movie...

Ok this movie had some truly, truly weak points, but it also had some truly strong ones!

Except Juliet Lewis, she was totally offpoint from start to finish and her acring is an example of a try bad acting. They should have hired some better actress for sure!

Everything else, when you think of moxing ip those bad and good points of the movie you do get a very solid movie worth watching in the end!

Of course seeing Angela kicking ass is always a cherry in top.

And the knife in the back scene - an amazing symbol of how, when seemingly bad things happen in your life they are actually at your advantage and there to help you and get you toward something better in life, so to speak to save you.
