Monster Hunter (2020)
Made for those who played the game
If you're not a fan of B rated movies, and never played Monster Hunter, then you won't enjoy this movie.
If you played Monster Hunter, totally worth the watch. Watch as in, you're not that emotionally invested in the movie but rather invested in seeing what similarities it has with the game.
And they didn't give any lines to the Handler so, that's a plus cus she's annoying.
Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet (2020)
Surprisingly Good
I may be bias with my rating because I am a gamer. This show being in the realm of video games automatically holds my interests, so this review may not be helpful to you.
The character development and story telling is great. The actors do a great job at selling their characters. The natural flow of the show is well paced. I didn't feel pushed or lost at any point which is good for me because I'm not quick in the head.
Episode 5 was amazing. I never knew I could become so attached to 2 random characters in 35 minutes. You can watch this episode before any other episode if you wanted. Just know that these characters don't show up in the rest of the season.

Better Than I Expected
Saw that it only had 6.1 out of 10. My brother and I figured, "eh, why not.".
It's way better than a 6.1.
It's worth it. The movie is put together very well. Doesn't feel rushed or dragged on. If you're a fan of the Silent Hill or Fatal Frame games, you'd like this.

Better Than Most IMO
This show is pretty good. I watched it with zero expectations. There's good character development unlike most shows and movies these days. The cast is full of good solid actors. The story so far is interesting.
This first season felt like a good start to a show. It set the stage, introduced the characters, and introduced a story. Just like ALL tv shows should do. It didn't jump the gun and throw you into a crazy plot twist before getting to know what you were actually watching. (I don't want to spoil anything for new viewers)
I read another review for this show talking about feminism and how this show was offensive, kind of made me think a bit. It made me think of the character and the show a little deeper than I intended. (It actually made me write this review) I'm no expert on such controversial topics, but I don't think this show is offensive at all. This show didn't make me think about feminism because this show has NOTHING to do with feminism. It's just about some girl who is already troubled, going through some more messed up stuff, with a little syfy twist. If anything, this show gave me a small insight to how tragically messed up that situation could be. (Again not going to spoil for new viewers) If it were me, I don't know how I'd react. I'd probably cry and want to die. And I'm sure you would to if it happened to you.
The other reviewer also made me think about the writing of the show a little more than I wanted. What makes a character so interesting, is their constant battle with themselves. If the main character never had a moral dilemma to overcome, there wouldn't be much of a story to show. So maybe they were confused on good character development vs all female leads have to be superwoman.
Anyway, I say give this show a try.

Better Than Most Movies
Okay, my title may be a little exaggerated, but not by far. I felt there was good character development in this movie, which I feel about 90% of movies these days don't have. Is this movie scary? Eh, a little. I think this movie is more sad, than scary. This movie doesn't follow your typical structure, which is why I think most people didn't like it. I'd watch this movie over Twilight, 50 Shade, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Divergent, and whatever other crap movie with a huge budget that was successful only because of it's name. I'm probably bias. I watched this movie with no expectations, and I was more entertained than any Transformers after Transformers 1.
