This is such a cute series! The low ratings are just plain ignorance & can only be angry people. These movies did such a great job aligning with the books, the acting is adorable and the story lines are so cute & great. I mean I'm 29 now and I was almost on the verge of tears at one point just because it was too cute. At 17/18 these moments are exactly how this movie makes them feel. Who can imagine leaving the love of their life at the time for a school so far away just when it seems things are so great?? Yes it seems corny at times but it's cute it's supposed to be that way, they're acting as a17 year old would at that time. These movies are cute & perfect. Must watch for sure!

Rewatching this now, and it's definitely more relatable as an adult but most sitcoms never have anything as close to real life as this episode. As the other review stated this episode had some flaws as far as Paul's situation never being confronted. But my review is more so based on the realistic feeling of them hashing out the issue and how you can almost feel their raw emotions when yelling on the bench. In reality/today's world we know most relationships would end over this or someone would always end up being resentful about it, but being able to feel the emotion and how much they wanted to prove the love between them and what toll it was taking was a great viewpoint. Most sitcoms don't even approach this raw emotion or seriousness they just move on from it and make it laughable.
