This Is Too Bad To Be Funny
5 December 2014
Anyone who has seen any of Kirk Cameron's previous pseudo-films, which generally consist of a sort of Christian apologetic aimed at the grammar school crowd, may think that they know what to expect with this latest offering, and they would be right. Here is Kirk with his usual mugging and winks to the camera as he leads his audience through a tangled and woefully inaccurate lecture on the mythical "War on Christmas". It is just plain awful. I forced myself to watch until the end and it wasn't worth it. It is a really pathetic attempt by a pathetic little man to grab a little cash riding on the coattails of Bill O'Reilly and Fox News. I was hoping at least it would be stupid enough to be funny, but it was just pedantic, dull and annoying. Miss this one and see a real movie.

Incredibly Bad
8 November 2012
Not only is the plot idiotic and the racial stereotyping painful to watch, but the acting is putrid, the direction inept and the special effects ... well: they're "special" all right. Avoid this one like plague unless you either want to learn how NOT to make a film, or you're really toasted.

There are also a few notable continuity issues. The lighting is awful (the background changes colours several times during several scenes). In a number of shots that are supposed to be scary, the camera is badly out of focus ... when it is not jiggling. It is really hard to believe that this thing was actually shot on film, because the resolution seems so bad, but that is probably the result of the combination of bad camera-work, bad lighting and using a photo kiosk in a car park somewhere to process the film.

My Gawd, How Awful
23 September 2009
First, there is NO security in this prison. Second, the guards have firearms (big no no). Third, the script is terrible. Fourth, the monster suit is ridiculous. Fifth, the acting is abysmal. Sixth, the direction is worse. Need I go on? The guy who plays the monster in human form is cute, though, but not cute enough to save this stinker.

And the jail doesn't even have a phone, much less a radio. And why is the female deputy running around in a skimpy top? Definitely a prison no no. Nobody seems to have the least idea of procedure. The Romanian ex-priest is terrible. His accent keeps changing. I won't spoil this one for anyone because it would be redundant.

One of the worst films I have ever seen. For real.
