I read multiple reviews here and I can't believe people can be so dim witted.
Someone said "Oh the girls were so sure that nothing would happen to the girl even with all those lies." Yes they were. Why would anything happen to her when she killed nobody? Hen there was no body to be found, nothing would happen to her even if she went to the cops and told them she murdered her friend.
Then, about the stupid choices the parents made. Which ones exactly??? What, you wanted them to act like professionals and leaving a fake trail to frame someone else for the supposed murder?
These were real people and they did their best under the circumstances. But it's the little things like that girl's phone getting found that was proving to be their undoing.
Somebody wrote about how could the parents not feel unnerved seeing their daughter behave normally, and how could they rest easy knowing they are living with a "bloodthirsty psychopath." Really, are you that stupid???
The film literally showed them getting creeped out seeing her behave normally. And she pushed her friend off the bridge out of an impulse. She did not plan for it. That's psychopathic behavior, but bloodthirsty?? You got to be out of your mind.
