Fighter (2024)
Another Sherdil, Maverick Wannabe
One of the major drawbacks of Fighter is its lackluster plot. The storyline is clichéd and predictable, offering nothing new or innovative to the action genre. The narrative feels disjointed at times, with poorly developed characters and subplots that fail to connect with the audience.
The film's pacing is another issue, with sluggish pacing in the first half that fails to build suspense or excitement. The action sequences, which should be the highlight of the film, are poorly choreographed and lack the adrenaline-pumping thrills expected from a movie of this caliber. The special effects are also subpar, further detracting from the overall viewing experience.
Hrithik Roshan's performance, while charismatic as always, feels wasted in a role that offers him little scope to showcase his acting prowess. His character lacks depth and development, making it difficult for the audience to connect with him on an emotional level.
Operation Valentine (2024)
Lame Monotonous Concept
The plot meandered aimlessly, relying on tired tropes and predictable plot points. The opening scene, while attempting to be explosive, felt rushed and lacked the necessary punch to set the stage for a thrilling adventure. Attempts at humour landed flat, and the supposed emotional moments felt unearned. The "big reveal" near the end felt like a desperate attempt to inject some excitement into a narrative that had long lost its momentum. The cardboard-cutout characters felt like rejects from a discount romantic comedy bin. Come on guys, we all know the tea was fantastic. Can we please stop making propaganda movies with low budget VFX? The concept is getting old and monotonous.
97 Minutes (2023)
absolute waste of time
Seemed like a high school project. Not worth the time. Bad acting matched with low quality CGI. Its disappointing to see Hollywood heavy hitter Alec Baldwin participating in such low quality production. What I don't understand is why so many people would try and be a part of something that requires so much time and logistics to put together but put so less effort on making it work. Sad thing is I probably put more effort into writing this review than the producers put into making this film. Also, it would be nice if they didn't put fake ratings on movies like these to trick people into watching them.
Attack (2022)
Not Bad
A mix of robocop, white house down, deadpool and alot of overdone stylized action. Good job for creating a reasonable timepass and special thanks for keeping it under 2 hours.
