Too much political crap in this one
5 September 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Lost a lot of respect for Garrett's character after he justifies being a womanizer to make a point that a woman who "even though would date a black guy in a wheel chair is still a bigot because of believing there's only 2 genders" (I paraphrased). Could've just done without the political bs inserted into this episode.

Purely for dramatic effect
10 August 2019
Warning: Spoilers
The acting in this episode is great but the portrayal of the immigration system is highly inaccurate. This whole last season has been propaganda against ICE. Having worked closely with that organization in the past it's easy to see how this episode is purely politically driven. We have even stepped away from the focus of the inmates which this show was originally focused on. It's unfortunate the inmates took backseat to the immigration story line. Again the acting is great but the political bias is just unnecessarily harped on.

Entertainment ruined by political activism.
5 August 2019
Warning: Spoilers
The episode was great until the end when a former inmate who is a Hispanic US citizen is falsely sent to a immigration detention center. This is ridiculous considering she's freshly released and on probation and has to check in with the PO weekly meaning she's fresh in the system. Let's not forget she was arrested in a club in NYC and definitely would have had her ID to get into the club. They would have ran her fingerprints very early during processing and verified she is in fact a US citizen. This is purely a scene for propaganda. The last couple seasons have begun to go this way.

Politics and Entertainment Is Like Oil and Water
25 October 2018
When will writers realized that politics does not belong in a show? Although this is only the second episode, the season seems like it's all politics. I laughed when I heard in this episode " It's scary to be brown these days" because I am myself am Hispanic and do not live in fear. What the writers chose to do with this season so far is simply feed the fears of those who identify with the anti-Trump and leftist movement. Don't get me wrong the man is not PC but I'm not here to get into politics, I'm here for entertainment. I am hoping this season improves but not counting on it. I had the same hopes for last season, season six, but they chose to continue down the path of a reality show and disappointment. But that was last season and this reviewsp is for this episode. So fingers crossed that show gets better this season.

Worst episode...why? Politics
25 August 2018
This show is usually great. This episode however was filled with political jabs and undertones that was just unnecessary and poorly chosen. I'm not left or right on the political scheme but I absolutely hate when writers have to put their political motives into the script. That's what's wrong with media today...no separation of entertainment and politics.
