So many plot flaws already mentioned above. But here are a few more.

Kendra returns to the orphanage she was adopted from 25+ years ago. Her info is in the current book the staff person is working in. Really? She flips a few pages and "oh, here you are"

Just dumb. Amber you feel like your life was ruined. Why are you destroying Kendras life, shes not the one you're mad at. Destroy everyone affiliated with the orphanage.

The story line is dumb from the beginning. Youve loss two babies in the past. You meet a woman in a parking lot and invite her to lunch that same day, then you invite her to move in w you and be your midwife?.....No background check, no credentials, nothing? And we're supposed to believe you're a lawyer?

Sara is cautious enough not to be on social media, but overshares with a stranger and takes provocative selfies with this woman you hardly know? Why is she so trusting?

And they never shut the Midwife down when she starts asking too much. I just dont get it.

Willful suspension of disbelief is required to get thru thugs one. So many things just don't make sense.

After the home invasion, Det Valencia chastised him in front of Amanda and her. Really?

How did Liam know that Detective Valencia was killed via suicide? Dawson hadn't mentioned it? Why did Dawson report to Amanda that Valencia was murdered, not her business.

Amanda sneaks into a police station, totally unnoticed? Really?

So many issues.
