Worth to see

I am a huge fan of Matthias and Joel, but the movie is all about Matthias character. Don't read the bad reviews, it is a good movie, slow pace kind, and Matthias acting nails the attention. A solid 7.

Don't read the bad reviews

This is the best Polish series I've seen so far. So many intriguing characters and the 2n season I think is even better. Not sure if it will have the 3rd season, but I am counting on it, a lot still is going on!!! Corruption even in the smallest little towns, impressive the greed and ego of people, it never changes! Highly recommend!

EXCELLENT!!!! MUST SEE IT!

Only Brazilian people can describe Brazilian people and our history. It is so real, so well directed, that 10 is too little to review this series. Excellent acting, photography, places, I mean, as a Brazilian myself, I highly recommend it. You just can't stop watch it. Anxiously waiting for the 3rd season!!

Exceptional

I did volunteer work for 5 years with kids from slums in Brazil. It is not the same thing as they do in the movie, but I know what a difference it make in these people lives a bit of care and help. Everyone should see it, specially because we live in such dark times. Honorable acting by Vincent and Reda, marvellous music. One those films that stay and keep you thinking for a long time ...just watch it.

It used to be good...

Warning: Spoilers
First 2 seasons are good, Black Jack Randall is the best character, with some surreal things, like a cheap soap opera, but still OK. 3rd season is not the best, but still nice, the series still has emotion. Don't bother with the 4th and 5th season, horrible plot in USA, not in Scotland anymore, bad direction, characters that should look like older but still look like in their 30s, lack of emotion, lack of everything. I used to like this, but now...don't waste your time. 90% of what happen is so romanticized that I wonder if someone still believe that. Oh, the Red Jamie is now the Blond Jamie...

Could be better, but worth to see

Warning: Spoilers
I love German movies and series, love. But in the case of Bad Banks, if the series have taken another leading actress, I would probably give a higher note. Paula Beer is not up to the role, has no charisma and what is that thing with the blinking eye? Plus, her character is the most despicable character in the whole serie. There is nothing, I mean, nothing good about her. Anyway, I saw both seasons for the history and the acting of Barry Atsma.

Season 5, Episode 3

Horrible episode
5 April 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I don't know what's happening, but season 5 is getting worse and worse and worse. This episode was a waste of my time, characters are lost, no good story line, no good acting, no good nothing, not even Jamie and Claire save it. The series should have stopped in the 3rd season and they should be back in Scotland. It totally lost its essence with the Scottish spirit.

Masterpiece of cinema

Warning: Spoilers
This is the kind of movie that moves you in such a way that is hard to explain. When the film ended I was sobbing non stop. And the Vivaldi music ... The passion, love, desire, respect, solidarity between the characters is simply amazingly described. The movie took my breath away. The scenery, location, clothing, actresses, the movie is pure poetry. It is perfect. Just see it.

A real gem from the 80s, one of my favorites!

Warning: Spoilers
You know that kind of movie that you feel good when you finish it? The good guy wins and take the girl with him? Where people were happy despite all problems? Where naivety used to feels gooood? Still does to me. Well, that is that kind of movie, a true gem of the 80s, it is also the movie I fell in love for good with James Spader. Everything is so right, the outfit, the acting, the city and the opening song is a bliss! Worth see over and over again!
