I have just watched season 1 episode 5, and as a Jewish girl that her native language is Hebrew I am quit offended by the lack of research/notice as to basic facts. First of all, there was a sentence on the bottom of a torn page that the characters kept saying how the sentence is written in 'ancient Hebrew'. This is false, and the entire page was written in 'ancient Hebrew' while the sentence on the bottom of the page is in 'modern Hebrew', so I was able to read it. Second of all, when the only character in the episode who knew 'ancient Hebrew' supposedly read and translated the sentence (the one I wrote about in the previous paragraph), he turned the page up-side-down, so the sentence was up-side-down as well. This is simply a lack of notice by the actors and director.
