Remake. The Norwegian original is better
10 March 2024
A remake of the Norwegian 2014 movie Børning with what is supposed to be the Swedish comedian elite. The script is a mix put together from Børning and the sequels Børning 2 (2016) and Børning 3 (2020) but the Norwegian original is better in all aspects.

It seems they try to make it stick with a series of funny situations but unfortunatly is the acting almost embarrassing and the dialog is even worse. However, as a total failure in all aspects it is almost amusing in all the embarrassment.

There are actually some ussually good actors in the movie but their performance here are doubtful. The most refreshich impressions are from the younger, not established actors.

The cut is traditional in all aspects.

I recoment the three norwegian films bofore this one every day of the week.

Lucifer (2016–2021)
Maybe a revival?

The usual story of Netflix takovers continues. Same as i La Casa de Papel thera was a obvious decline when the the master company of production but disastercompany of scripts (i'm talking about Netflix) took over. The 4:th and fifth seasons are tragical when it comes to the script but as usual the excellent production makes you swallow the flaws.

In the 6:th season the obviously experimenting a lot with the script and are trying out different angles and it actually turns out rather amuzing. After the catastrofic 4:th and 5:th season maybe Netflix actually may find an angle that may prosper????

Me myself actually had allready condemned this series after season five and only started to watch season six to get the death sentence confirmed, but now....maybe there actually ARE an future for thie series. I'm getting curious all over :-)

The worst I've seen for a very long time

This film simply reuse the script from the original "Big Fat Liar" with only minor changes. Problem is they use much less talented actors and the writer/actor Ron Oliver must have gone crazy since he peaked his career in the 1980:s. This is simply a lousy attempt to earn a few dollars by using the name of an old popular film. I ought to claim compensation from the production company for totally ruining 1½ hours of my life.
