Frasier (2023– )
10/10
Vast improvement as each episode comes out
2 November 2023
Huge life-long Frasier fan here...The first 3 episodes of the new reboot felt a little shaky, even cringey at times. The character development had to get the basics out of the way at first I suppose.

But with each episode it has gotten better and better. Episode 4 was just hilarious with David (Niles & Daphne's son) being mistaken for an orphan at the fire dept Episode 5 feels just like "old" Frasier in the best possible ways and we belly laughed throughout the episode. It's pretty remarkable that he (Kelsey) can still channel the character and still be as funny as he ever was. Some ask if this needed to be made... And I think you can say that about hundreds of shows these days, but this one is a gem and deserved a shot at a revival. So happy they did. I think they are hitting the stride. Lovin' it!

A well told and heartbreaking documentary. Too many movie clips
2 August 2023
We learned quite a bit about his legendary Hollywood dominance and overall story. In the end, a very sad and tragic end to a man so full of life. This is a well-told and heartbreaking story for the most part. There are so many valuable contributors interviewed throughout the documentary. It was touching to hear their experiences and see their shared personal videos and photos of aspects and points in time of Rock's life. My only complaint is that we are treated to an (over) abundance of movie clips cleverly edited to help tell his/the story via dialogue from various movies . By the last half hour or so those clips became a bit grating. The cut back and forth with this creative approach took something away from the actual story and interviews.

Dramatic conspiracy oriented bluster, lacking in real substance
17 March 2023
Like many, I'm so fascinated by the mystery of this story and was really looking forward to where this documentary might go. BUT, this three episode documentary is a flight to nowhere. You might even think it was produced by some of the folks at the History channel in between filming Ancient Aliens episodes. The theorists with their narratives seem really conspiracy oriented, lacking in real substance or evidence and overall just really really subpar for such a compelling and serious tragedy. And oh GAWD, every time they are showing texts on the screen you get to hear a zillion full volume iphone text tones one after the other. That became REALLY annoying.

It tried so hard and in the end it didn't really matter....
23 December 2022
I was really really into this show almost to the 1/2 way point if not beyond, but even as it started to meander and go in circles I stayed with it to the end of the finale 12th episode of Season 1.... That final episode is called : 'All the Way From There to Get to Here". I think that about sums up my feeling of a 12 hour investment just to get to a very unsatisfying full circle / nothing really resolved last episode. It could also have been titled ""All the way from there *just* to get to here". Now hearing that Apple has already cancelled this show deprives us any hope of further closure.. I did not read the book as many have. I can only imagine that a superb book given this treatment would be even more frustrating. At this writing, all of the streaming platforms are slashing shows left and right. I think ill-will and resent from customers will continue to build towards the streamers as so many invest so much time in their efforts only to be repeatedly disappointed and/or see the streamer kill the show before it had a chance.

Call Me Kat (2021–2023)

Great cast , a warm heart and laughs ...
5 January 2021
The format (where Kat talks to the audience intermittently throughout the show ) would be a bit more appreciated if you'd ever watched the original UK version of this show 'Miranda' ... which was a funny show ! This show hasn't quite reached that bar of well-timed British comedy and goofiness yet, but it definitely has potential to do so.

The show has a very good cast in Mayim and 2020's treasure Leslie Jordan, Cheyenne and Swoosie Kurtz etc .... It has heart and and has some laughs. Tighten up the writing and timing and I think it will be even better. I hope FOX gives the show time to find its rhythm!

Season 2 review
24 June 2020
Season one was pretty fun and entertaining! Season 2 however.... Bette Midler, Judith Light and Gwyneth hands down make this season... without them it would have been insufferable! A sanctimonious, dialed in script for the most part. The aforementioned stars did the most with their screen time. Bette especially.

A Very Good Fast Paced Action driven TV Show!
22 December 2019
Reading some of the low scoring reviews here, they sound either impatient or easily confused.

There are flashbacks, but it tells you on screen where and when you are at the start of that scene. The action/fight scenes are awesome and movie quality. The pace of the show is quick and mostly pretty fun to watch. It feels like a worthy cousin of the Bourne movies and way above average for a tv show.

We are on episode 7 and really like it.

Give it a chance !
