Everything I want in a film, extreme violence, comedy, action and some of the most unrealistic fight scenes in cinematic history oh and Matt Lucas too.

A very easy film to watch, amazing cinematography, dark, moody and cold. It is not too complex a story to follow and despite it being Swedish dubbed into English it works well for English speaking viewers. I suspect it is better if you speak Swedish though and watch it in Swedish.

I enjoyed it and the action scenes are brilliant in their own non Hollywood way.

But here's the thing. The last 20 minutes were poor. I won't drop a spoiler in so I will just say the ending is stupid and it's such a shame because it could have been brilliant.

A very clever, original of sorts film which clearly takes influence from lots of other films and uses the very common apocalyptic theme but twists it into a tense but very enjoyable 2 hours.

A solid 8/10 for me, a brilliant movie with a brilliant cast.

I loved it and I think you will too.

I love British comedy and I love British Crime films.

I loved Skins and I love Tim Roth.

Now here's the thing, I remember this film launching and thinking that it would be up my street for all of the above reasons but alas I didn't watch it.

I did tonight and it is absolutely brilliant.

What more can I say ?

Utter brilliance.

This movie isn't perfect by any stretch of the imagination but it isn't bad at all. I enjoyed it and was quite shocked at how brutal it is. It is also very funny. This is my type of film as it combines black comedy, with survival in the extremes and a bit of horror thrown into the mix. Only a cast of three but it flows along nicely with a decent twist at the end.

I thought it was great so give it a go.

After watching this (ironically after seeing it plastered all over twitter) I felt abit violated and felt like a break in social media was well overdue. I did just that but after 24 hours 'THEY' turned the dials just like how they explained they do for periods of non use by the user and just like that I was back in the game. The most disturbing bit for me was the phrase "there are only 2 industries that refer to their customers as users, the illegal drugs trade and tech companies" and I thought then that if you think about it, they both create addicts then profit from the addiction. A very clever and thought provoking film.

There is nothing I can say about Reservoir Dogs that has not been said before. It is a work of genius. The End.

Firstly disregard the bad reviews and low scores. I use IMDB as a movie guide book not a movie rule book, some films with bad reviews I have enjoyed and some films with high scores and high ratings I have thought were utter pants. That is the beauty of film, we all see it differently. I enjoy the apocalyptic and dystopian genre very much and I missed this the first time round. I watched it tonight and I think it is excellent. People banging on about the lack of an ending, but it ends in the perfect way for me, not wanting to drop any spoilers but what did you expect to happen ? Everyone arriving safe and well away from the chaos and carnage in a little town and just carrying on with life. Lets remember what is happening all the way through the film. Every character felt right and the acting is great, the backdrop always seems to be right despite it being filmed elsewhere to where it is set. I enjoyed it and if you ignore the reviews and sit back and put it on a big screen, you will too.

I like love both genres of found footage and folklore so for me this ticked all the boxes when it popped up as a suggested view. It is a remarkable film in that it blends mild horror with humour and adventure. It uses the most beautiful scenery to set it's story and in all I found it a great film. I would have preferred subtitles as opposed to dubbed English as the accents were a bit ridiculous however all in all a spectacular film and I'm glad it popped up for me.

It really is not as bad as some of these reviews suggest. Yes it's far fetched but if you want 90 minutes entertainment, enjoy animal horror and enjoy stunning scenery as a back drop then give it a go. Not bad at all.
