Jovi & Lou (2023)
Very entertaining & thought provoking!
I rented Jovi & Lou on Amazon Prime, and thought I would watch a little here and there when I had some down time. No way.....I couldn't stop watching. It really grabbed me. The movie presents a very interesting concept about good and evil that kept me interested until the end. No spoilers here, but check it out for yourself and you'll understand. It also has a sweet love story which is a bonus for me. Lot's of tidbits that kept me interested. There is also a comedic element to the film, which was surprising and fun. The movie was well made, with good cinematography, and good acting. I Highly recommend watching Jovi & Lou!
Fables for the Witching Hour (2023)
Terrific!
"Fables of the witching hour" is five captivating, interesting, horror stories, with five very unique themes and five accomplished and creative directors.
Anthologies are typically difficult to pull off, however this really delivered. I was very impressed.
The acting was good, and so was the cinematography as were the special effects. The stories were paced well and moved along in a thrilling way.
Fables has the same feel as "Black Mirror". If you are a fan of that show than this is right up your alley.
I would best describe the "Fables of the witching hour" anthology as riveting, spine chilling and terrifying. Prepare to be scared!
