White Noise (2022)
Death
If you are in your 20's you won't get this film. If you're in your 30's maybe you will understand stand it. You should totally understand this film in your 40's and beyond. This films is a great thesis on death told by the characters within. If you don't get it you might as ever get it. And that's ok. I highly recommend you watch this movie more than once.
Tell your friends about it. I'd go as far to say watch it with your friends and have a healthy conversation about what they thought about the movie.
It is set in Ohio during the 1980's. The aesthetic is familiar, but holds its own. There it is.
Velma (2023)
Totally worth watching
This show is bananas and I'm one hundred percent here for it. I have no problem with a different vision of old characters. The elements of old are simply new and seen through a fresh pair of eyes. Just like the recent Harley Quinn series that also has a different look and feel to old characters, Velma is great. The animation has a good color palette. Others on this platform seem to not like change and want to hold on to older versions of these characters. I don't see it that way. The producers of this show are "going there" and they're taking risk and risk is a good thing. Go watch the show. Enjoy the the change.
Undone (2019)
Undone is Beyond.
To say that this series is "woke" is merely fodder of ignorance. Art is not to be spoon fed it is to be experienced. There is no one way to see stories both written or animated. As much as we want our lives to be a straight line, Space and time is non-linear. Imagination is non-linear. I love this show in all its forms.
Metal Lords (2022)
Heart in METAL
#MetalLords is a fantastic journey. It blends the struggles of HS with a learning experience for & about #HeavyMetal. Not to mention a ton of heart. I believe folks on here are simply saying bad things about it because as usual they like to talk crap about Metalheads. I highly recommend you watch it. Killer work. 🤘🤘
Fear Street: 1994 (2021)
Absolutely worth watching
I don't know what movie others on here watched but this movie was great. It has all the tropes of a horror movie and a little more.
Watch it for yourself.
Lisey's Story (2021)
"There were no ghosts. Only memory."
It's obvious to me that folks not giving a good review haven't been watching the whole series. It is fantastic. It raises questions & answers them. Not to mention it was filmed cinematically amazing.
The Handmaid's Tale: The Wilderness (2021)
If this episode doesn't satisfy you haven't watched from the beginning.
This episode had everything I wanted. I did not expect them to ever "go there" but they did & I was here for it. I don't feel my words are in any way spoiling anything. As for others on here who at poo pooing this episode I don't believe they've been watching this show from the beginning (First episode, first season) because if they did they'd know what to expect. I loved this episode.
2 thumbs up
10/10
5 Stars.
Dad Stop Embarrassing Me (2021)
Trolls obviously giving bad reviews (A must watch).
This show is great. Funny, socially aware and spans many generations. I highly recommend everyone watch it.
Clarice (2021)
The essence of Silence and I'm here for it
If you're looking for Hannibal from the other network this is not it, it's it's own creature. Comparing it to H should not be what you should do. The characters from the movie may be present but you should watch it with fresh eyes. The cast is top notch and you all should be watching it.
Fargo: East/West (2020)
No Lions, No Tigers, No Bears but OH MY!
East/West episode of FARGO season 4 episode 9 is by far my favorite episode of this season to date. There are so many Easter eggs to other Coen Brothers stories I can't even begin to tell you. Did I mention the Wizard of Oz references? Holy moly. As a film & tv nut who has seen a lot of tv shows & movies, A LOT OF TV SHOWS & MOVIES, I enjoyed this immensely. To not further spoil anything I highly, highly recommend you watch this episode.
Reprisal (2019)
Needs a Season 2
I completely dig this show. I hope they return with a 2nd season. There's quite a bit of questions that could/need to be answered.
The Dirt (2019)
Take the ride
The Dirt was a roller coaster of emotions. Ups & downs. I enjoyed the ride. Judge for yourself
Fargo: The Castle (2015)
Penultimate Episode
Everything has led us to this in season 2. Many questions answered many characters given there just rewards. I love this episode and this season in particular the most of all 3 seasons. Layers on top of layers if you have the eyes to see them.
The UFO were there the whole time. Now on to Black Sabbath.
Luke Cage (2016)
Totally Worth Watching
I've noticed a lot of negative comments from dates that predate the premier. Ignore them. This show is great. Music is great. Acting is the best. Watch this show! Make up your own mind.
Dead North (2018)
Twists & Turns till the bitter end.
Just binged watched this on the Investigation Discovery App. A true crime fan should enjoy every minute of this. I did not expect how it would end.
Lost in Space (2018)
Adaptation Original Totally Worth watching
As with any adaptation the views & direction are through fresh eyes. This is not your parents or grandparents L.I.S. It is clear to me this version may have or is giving a nod to the original series & motion picture. Reboots call for change. Change is good.
